Oh, Sofia. At some point you really ought to try changing up your hairstyle just a little. The four button is a lovely size for her, but it really needs a softer updo than that severe, center parted look she always reverts to. Pity, she could have just looked fantastic at the dinner.

I was not a fan of Madeline's first night look. The skirt looked like one of those parade floats made by stuffing tissue paper into chicken wire. So sad and stiff, not anything pretty about it. And the top seemed to belong to another dress entirely. I appreciate that she takes some risks, but they certainly don't always work out, do they? But boy, does she wear the Connaught tiara well! That's not an easy one to pull off, but it definitely suits her.

Victoria just looked wonderful both nights. I would have liked to see a softer hairstyle with the laurel wreath tiara, but she still looked lovely. And goodness, the award-night gown with the cut steel...she was flawless. What a lovely crown princess she is!

Johanna Dahl, the PR manager of H&M Sweden, told in Svensk Damtidning that Victoria's dress is unique and they have had a continuing dialogue with her during the whole designing project. H&M has a regular contact with Victoria's chambermaid/stylist Tina Törnqvist. H&M presented the fabric to Tina and she showed it to Victoria. Victoria liked it and then Tina Törnqvist contacted H&M, them to make a unique dress of this fabric to this years Nobel Prize Ceremony.
Svensk Damtidning wrote also that they got to know that Sofia made the choice of a tiara to the Prize ceremony in the last minute, due to the new information regarding her wedding tiara.

Wow they all look red in the face, and the color of Madeleine and Sofia's dresses are strange in this lighting or effects

I think Princess Sofia's dress looks very nice in this photo and lighting. Her hairstyle is not complimentary to the outfit.

I guess the photo has been taken from Svensk Damtidning's web magazine and their colours are odd.
The photo is published on various photo agencies today, and the faces aren't red, here's the photo from ANP
https://www.anpfoto.nl/search.pp?pag...9027234&pos=21

The colours of the photo are natural and ok at Svensk Damtidning's paper issue.

Sara Danius, the Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy, tells at her blog, that the Academy will hand over Bob Dylan's Nobel diploma and Nobel medal this weekend, when he has two concerts in Stockholm. The setting will be small and intimate, and no media will be present; only Bob Dylan and members of the Academy will attend, all according to Dylan’s wishes. No Nobel Lecture will be held. The Academy has reason to believe that a taped version will be sent at a later point. (Taped Nobel lectures are presented now and then, the latest of which was that of Nobel Laureate Alice Munro in 2013.) At this point no further details are known.

Sara Danius, the Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy, tells at her blog, that Bob Dylan has received his Nobel Prize on Saturday.
"Earlier today the Swedish Academy met with Bob Dylan for a private ceremony in Stockholm, during which Dylan received his gold medal and diploma. Twelve members of the Academy were present. Spirits were high. Champagne was had. Quite a bit of time was spent looking closely at the gold medal, in particular the beautifully crafted back, an image of a young man sitting under a laurel tree who listens to the Muse."
Bob Dylan has received the Nobel medal and diploma _ Ur Akademiens liv

SVT writes that it has been speculated about if Bob Dylan would comment on his Nobel Prize from the stage during the concert in Stockholm. The answer was no.
The time 19:37 Bob Dylan came on stage in concert arena Waterfront. 21:18 he walked away. In the scant two hours the rock icon and literature laureate did not say a single spoken word.
Earlier in the afternoon the Swedish Academy confirmed that they met Dylan and handed over the medal and the diploma as part of the literature prize. Many fans hoped that Dylan would somehow thank for, or at least comment on, the prize up from the stage.
- In recent years, he has barely said "half past six" at concerts. So it would be quite interesting if he took up the prize, said Åke Jonsson, a member of Dylan Society.
But that was not the case.
Dylan, conventionally dressed in boots, black suit and white hat, looked out in the audience a few times between songs. He gave two encores and then disappeared. The Nobel medal seemed was not seen.
- I am a little disappointed, perhaps, it would have been nice if he would have mentioned the prize. But it was expected, says concert visitor Moa Ström after the concert.
- We had hoped that he would say something. But I'm not surprised, this is Dylan we're talking about, says Tony Ström.

Bob Dylan has delivered his Nobel speech to the Swedish Academy in the form of an audio recording, five days ahead of the final deadline, meaning he can collect the SEK 8 million prize money offered to him as the 2016 Nobel laureate in literature.

The Swedish Academy published a recording of Dylan's 26-minute speech, as well as a transcript, on its website on Monday. In a statement, the Academy's permanent secretary, Sara Danius, called the speech "extraordinary" and "eloquent".

I'll listen to the speech later, but find it generous and gracious of Danius to use extraordinary and eloquent as descriptors. Swedish open mindedness humbles me. And delights me, as well.

Mr Dylan can be a pill. But he does have other gifts.
