As for next year i don't think that chris if he should be attend seat on stage. Perhaps it would be the best to have only the King, Queen, Crown Princess and Prince Daniel on stage and seat Princess Madeleine and Chris and Prince Carl Philip next to Princess Christina in the front row.

I have a question. I was reading about the story of Princess Christina and learned that after her marriage to husband (a commoner) she lost her title HRH and only kept the courtesy title of Princess. Would this apply to Princess Madeleine as well, after her marriage to Chris?

In Christina's day women did not have succession rights in Sweden. 2 of her other sisters also lost their HRH status when they married commoners. After the king married a commoner in 76 it wouldn't really make sense to retain the old standards with other family members as we saw with Victoria and Daniel. If the court follows the same practice they announced when Maddy was engaged to Jonas she will retain her royal status and her husband will be consort duke to her ducal title but not an HRH himself.

I too liked Victorias outfit and jewels the first evening, but not eye make up.
Thank you Lady Finn for the info as to who escorted whom on the second night. But do you know who the King escorted the first night?

Guess I'm among the minority who loved Victoria's look last night. I thought she looked incredable and it was great to see her in green and a nice bright green at that too. Also really liked the Four Button for the very first time thanks to that row of diamonds. It really made a great difference to the look of it and I loved the emeralds. First time I've ever seen them in fact.
She also looked stunning tonight, but then red is always one of her very best colours. Looks like the new tiara got another outing tonight. Still on the fence about it.
Nice to see Maddie wearing the Amethyst tiara and I really liked the way she wore it. Her dress OTOH was not my favourite. Tonight though...Wowza!! That dress is fantastic on her. My only quibble is I wish the frame bottom of the Modern Frame had been better hidden in her hair. Oh well...I did love the way she had her hair done. :)
Poor Silvia...Being sick is never fun, but being sick in front of the entire World has to be even worse. I'll bet that's why HM was wearing the shawl tonight. Hope she's feeling much better very soon.
Sigh...One of my favourite Royal events of the year once again did not disappoint. Fantastic gowns, awesome jewels and one scruffy but adorable Prince. Can't ask for more than that!!

Because for the wedding the Princess wore it with a big diamond Rivière.
Her hairdo is also much better with this tiara.

I thought they looked all great the two days and Madeleine is still the most gorgeous Princess in Europe. But I felt pity for Silvia, who was obviously ill :/

Can you imagine if and when Sofia hellqvist is married to Carl Philip, she'll be sitting up there with the rest of the royal family. Will we then ooh and ahh her clothing and jewels?

I can imagine that. If one day she really belongs to the SRF she'll have access to the royal jewels, stylists and wonderful dresses. And with her always radiant smile I can imagine her being a beautiful sight at the nobels.
Btw, I really loved Victorias green dress and her eye make up. Much better than the red dress and usual make up a day later. It was okay, but not wow.
Madeleine was a real princess at the nobel banquet. Wonderful dress, beautiful hair, nice make up. And the amethyst jewels really suited her. And what a radiant smile she had. It was so great to see her at the nobels again. I really missed her in the last years. But I absolutely didn't like the grey dress she wore at the kings dinner. Madeleine is a person for colour and not for boring grey.
Silvia had a beautiful dress at the kings dinner. Really queen-like. Wonderful.
The king was the king. What's more to say there?
And Carl Philip and his beard. Wow! I really like it. And I also like the longer hair. It looks great.
Oh, I almost forgot Daniel. Well, no great dress or jewels obviously for him. But he really belongs to the SRF now. I don't have the feeling of "new guy in the inner circle" anymore every time I see him at an official royal event.

Yes, it was the last time princess Lilian attended the Nobel Prize Ceremonies, but only the award ceremony, not the dinner afterwards. Princess Lilian was disappointed for not attending the dinner, but I guess the reason for that decision was that she had already shown signs of suffering from Alzheimer's. Princess Lilian attended the dinner at the Royal Castle for the Nobel Laureates and was seated between Carl Philip and the Swedish Marshal of the Realm, I would say it was a "safe" seating for her.
