It's Birgitta! Thanks very much Denism. I've been to her tread but I'm disappointed there's not much pics of her as a young lady. She was truly stunning from what I remember.
And also, why I'm not surprised you were the first to visit a tread called Glamorous Swedish princess? :p

You´re welcome. Well, we´ll see if we can find any more photos. But, of course. I am very much interested in them.

Yes, that would be great! There was a documentary about Christina made a few years ago when she turned 60, but I have never seen any of the other sisters on Tv

I've been thinking... If their father Gustaf Adolf hadn't died and eventually had become king, Maragretha would probably have the queen now and her children would be the heirs to the thrown!

But their father would probably still have been alive in 1980, if he hadn't ended up in that accident, so Carl Gustaf wouldn't have ascended the thrown yet. But then, I guess Carl Gustaf would have become crown prince after his grandfather's death anyway, and grown-ups are seldom stripped of being heirs appearant. Haakon in Norway wasn't, even though his sister Märtha Louise was older than him.

I think it's prince Wilhelm, duke of Södermanland. He was the younger brother of king Gustav VI Adolf and the father of Lennart Bernadotte of Mainau. He was the only royal prince in the early 1960:ies beside prince Bertil and crown prince Carl Gustav. The photo is from before 1965, as both queen Louise and prince Wilhelm died that year.

Margaretha and Birgitta yesterday. In a way it is hard to believe that they are sisters, they are so different kind of people.

I thought it was fun to see that the four sisters entered together, they reminded me of my own aunts (just with more diamonds and fancy dresses ), they look like they are close, even though probably with some sisterly bickering now and then

Why they are called Haga? So little is known of the four sisters.

Yes, Princess Margaretha is the older of the two (of all actually), being born in 1934. Birgitta is three years younger than her (then there are Desirée, born in 1938, and Christina, born in 1943).
