Thinking of poor Mary, who have been critisised of some people (or of a certain group on this board... ) because of her poor danish on the engagement-day...so I don´t think, that it´s an good idea not to learn the language of your partner/prince...actually everybody I know, who has a partner of a foreign country tries to speak his language.

I know. I thought of Mary when I just read that. But the thing is that I just think it would have been sweet of her to learn it. Endears her to Carl Gustaf. Not that he needed something else to find to convince himself that she was worth holding onto...

I liked the programme. Sadly Madeleine and Carl Philip wasn´t able to take part in a interview they were suposed to be doing together with thier sister but other than that the programe was great.
No big surprises but entertaining :P

That's too bad. But it's good that it was entertaining.

one could see Victoria chatting with ali at the state visit from Jordan.

Victoria said that she is very proud of her brother and sister, and that they are doing very great in school...
Victoria also said that she feels that her fathers sense of humour seldom is talked about she feels that most f the time it is reported that he is a serious man
She also said that she has more time preparing to be queen then her father could prepare to be king she is the same age now as her father was when he become king

that's good. I think we get that impression. Good of her for bringing it up.

Isn't this great - The Queen on "Good Morning America"!

Dennism and I have been trying to find out more about her appearance on the show, but so far no luck. If anyone reads or hear anything about this, please post the info to share with everyone.

I think I know a little bit about her trip to the USA. I read months ago in the Swedish newspapers (in a summary of the Royal House's spring) that she will be in New York for the launch of UNICEF's & the World Tourism Organization Code of Conduct to prevent sexual exploitation, and I also believe I read that there will be some gala for the World Childhood Foundation.

I don´t know exactly. I´ll keep my eyes open if it will show the trailer on tv again...

but maybe its this show:
Monday June 7th 19:00 Eu: parlamentet Del 1 av 4.

couldn´t find it but I found another show:

SVT 1 sön 6/6 16.00
Astrid Lindgrens litteraturpris
Från prisutdelningen på Skansen, där litteraturpriset till Astrid Lindgrens minne delades ut av kronprinsessan Victoria.

Ok, thank you Yennie. Maybe they will show this also on the web. At least the celebrations at Skansen are probably shown on the web! SVT tomorrow 20:00 CET

I hope this is a long and detailed interview (even though I don´t think so). Because IMO she didn´t give really long and with more than just "small talk"-interviews in the last couple of months :(

The TV4 website (http://www.tv4.se/visa/?innehall=/lo.../lopsedel.html) for the programme EU: parlamentet, doesn't say anything about an interview with Crown Princess Victoria. It's the first out of 4 half hours before the elections to the European Parliament. I guess the "commercial" for the programme, where the reporter asks Victoria the question, is just a small piece. I hope they will air more of that interview, but it could also be a short thing (if they at all show it). I couldn't find anything mentioning it...

The commercial for the programme "EU:parlamentet", airing Monday 7th June 19:30 (out of my memory, I think it was like this)

Reporter: If the Crown Princess would be an European Parlamentarian, what issues would the Crown Princess concentrate/focus on?
Victoria: The environment, the trade with people, narcotics - issues that I feel are important and hope will get a lot of attention

How was the interview?

On Sunday (14:30) Royalty-TV (ARD) has a report on Carl Philip. And there´s a report about the new commoner-brides.
