There's something so special about the Swedish royals. They always manage to present the most elegant presence at any event.

There will be a Representation/Official dinner at the Royal Palace on 24th November. According to the calendar only the King and Queen are set to attend, but I assume at least the Crown Princess Couple will attend as well.

King Carl Gustaf and Victoria attended the Council of State today. During Councils of State, each minister present informs The King about political initiatives, investigations and current legislation within his or her department, and responds to questions asked by The King. The King leads these Councils of State, in which the Crown Princess also participates.

King Carl Gustaf, queen Silvia and Victoria arrived to Stefan Persson's anniversary symposium, arranged at Aula Medica at Karolinska Institutet. Stefan Persson, the richest man in Sweden, celebrated his 70th birthday on 4th October. He and Family Erling-Persson Foundation have donated a lot of money to Karolinska Institutet for research and to the building of Aula Medica, and Karolinska Institutet wants to highlight this with a scientific symposium where researchers from KI and other universities present research areas supported by the Family Erling-Persson Foundation. The foundation supports scientific research, primarily projects focusing on medicine and care, but also other research. Stefan Persson is a close friend of the royal family. The symposium is private. The royals were welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Ole Petter Ottersen and Chairman of the Karolinska Institutet Board Mikael Odenberg.

And today the calendar was updated. Also Daniel, Carl Philip and Sofia attend at the official dinner.
Victoria will not attend at the dinner, as previously told she visits Leipzig and attends at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany's presentation of the Swedish Business Prize.

Nice to see Sofia attending, I'm actually a bit surprised by this. And Crown Princess Victoria has not had many tiara events this year, she also missed the state banquet for Canadian state visit.

King Carl Gustaf, queen Silvia, Victoria and Daniel attend this evening at the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation's centenary celebrations at National Museum of Science and Technology. The members of the Wallenberg family welcomed them. Also prime minister Stefan Löfven and his wife Ulla are at the photos. Before the dinner the guests could see the Museum's interactive exhibition MegaMind.

Maybe king Carl Gustaf should remember better that he is photographed, so we wouldn't have to see facial expressions like this.

I see nothing funny in that the king looks like that at an official event while he is standing beside his heir.
