Queen Silvia and Princess Christina are not only sisters-in-law, they are also close friends who like to socialize as often as possible.
When Queen Silvia came to Sweden and became the king's fiancee, there were four strong sisters who welcomed her into the family. As Sweden's future queen, Silvia needed all the advice she could get, and the Haga Princesses gladly wanted to help.
Now only Princess Christina lives in Stockholm and is therefore naturally the closest to Queen Silvia to this day. Although the queen appreciates meeting all the king's sisters, she gets the more everyday contact with princess Christina.
Princess Christina is also one of the sisters who has worked most diligently in the king's service. Christina has also jumped in when there were gaps in the royal representation and thus helped Queen Silvia with an otherwise very heavy workload.
At the same time, Queen Silvia has been there and supported Christina during difficult times, for example when Christina suffered from chronic blood cancer in 2016.
