The queen looks very elegant and the dress from the crown princess looks nice, too. She wear it at least at September 2004 by the state visit in finland.

I only know that she swims a lot. They( the family) built a swimmingpool at Drottningholm for her as a birthday gift, don´t know the year ( 50th birtday perhaps???)

I liked what Queen Silvia was wearing, beutiful dress and jewels. Sonjas dress I think we have seen to many times, the same with Victorias dress - even though I like it, but she has used it to 4(?) state visits now and that´s too many in my opinion. Victoria is really getting thin now isn´t she? hope she´s allright...

Victoria looks absolutetly fabulous for the gala event! Better (in my opinion) then she has in a while. She looks as though she actually prepared for this particular event (appearance wise.) I love her hair! And although the button tiara isn't one of my favorites, it works very well for this particular style.

Thanks for all the photos. I must say Queen Silvia looks absolutely stunning. I think her floral dess reminds me of the one that Princess Mathilde wore to the Danish CPLy wedding..a very beautiful dress. The other ladies looked great too. Hey! I was just wondering if anyone knew which language these two families speak when they are together. Are Swedish and Norwegian close enough that they could understand each others languages without trouble or do they probably speak English together? Princess Madeleine and the late Queen Astrid of Belgium do look quite alike, especially when Princess Madeleine has her hair pulled back. They are both extraordinarily beautiful.

I have two questions:

How is King Harald's health? It is great to see him on this trip (especially since we are missing Mette-Marit) but I wonder how he feels? He certainly looks much better.

I noticed that Madeleine and Lilian attended the gala but how come they were not part of this picture with everybody else?

madeleine's pink dress looks wonderful with the tan! about victoria, i loved that dress from the first moment i saw it for the first time, lovely! sonja seems to eclipse the rest with such a vivid colour, the dress is beautiful though.
