Yes, they are traditional clothes of Sweden. Here´s more information:
The Swedish National Costume
Svenska dräkten-Sverigedräkten
We have same kind of national costumes in Finland, we have 97 different national costumes - 72 for women and 25 for men.

The royal family celebrated the national day on the Skansen open air museum:

Yeah I'm wondering the thing about the shoes. Now the outfits I figured it out. Its because the national colors are maize and blue, so they wear that to represent the whole country. I do agree that someone should wear the traditional outfits for the regions and maybe they could have the choirs do that.

why princess Madeleine wears not the same shoes as Queen and CP Victoria?

The shoes that Crownprincess Victoria and Queen Silvia wears belongs to the dress. Madeleine hasn´t wore them for years (I think since she got old enough to decide what to wear ;) ) so perhaps she just finds them ugly and prefers more normal pumps.

I love seeing the royals in their traditional clothing! Did Princess Madeleine speak during the open palace event?

I think she did, as on some pics you can see a microphone in front of the
big door, so maybe a few words before she opened the palace doors.. :)

Thanks for the great links, LadyFinn!

Where's Carl Philip? Did Daniel also attend the celebrations?

Carl Philip was racing in Gothenborg, but was joining the family in the evening.

Daniel didn´t attend. Way too many ppl with way too many possible infections way too soon.
I am actually also doubtful he would be present at Victoria´s birthday celebrations in 5 weeks...
