King Carl Gustaf's friend Erik Belfrage has died in covid-19. The top diplomat turned 74 years old.
Erik Belfrage, a diplomat, business leader and friend of the king, died during the night to Saturday in the suites of covid-19, the disease caused by the corona virus, writes Aftonbladet.
The King and Belfrage have spent a lot of time together, including during state visits abroad. They have also been hunting together. Belfrage has also served on the board of His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf's prize "Årets nybyggare" (The New Entrepreneur of the Year Award).
The King and Belfrage are almost exactly the same age - both were born in April 1946 - and both of them attended the Sigtuna Boarding School.

A friend of King Carl Gustav has died from Corona.

It's the 74 year old Erik Belfrage, diplomat and businessman.
He frequently attended dinner with the SRF and often went hunting with the King.

Andrea Brodin posted yesterday to her Instagram a photo of her and Cedric Notz at the wedding of Madeleine and Chris, where they met.

Peter "Foppa" Forsberg has met Sigge, who has leukemia. Min Stora Dag/My Big Day made Sigge's wish come true.
"I want to meet Foppa!"
10-year-old Sigge from Östervåla often has a tough day when he has been treated for leukemia since 2018. Sigge is a guy who loves hockey, he has been playing since he was 6, and says himself that he will be the new Foppa.
My Big Day therefore made Sigge experience something that filled with joy and power. Sigge got to meet his big idol Peter 'Foppa' Forsberg and get out on the ice. One day he will never forget.
- Sigge has a very nice attitude to probably not just hockey, but his whole life, says Peter Forsberg.
Sigges Stora Dag med Peter Forsberg

Peter made A Big Day
Peter was really in a hurry in town last week, and obviously took the time to play hockey with 10-year-old Sigge, who has been treated for leukemia since 2018. Via @minstoradag, Sigge got his wish to play hockey with the number 21. - Sigge and I had a fantastic day on the ice, which we will never forget. He has a great attitude to probably not just hockey, but his whole life, Peter said afterwards.

Aftonbladet's royal reporter Jenny Alexandersson and royal expert Sara Ericsson talked about the friends of the royal family at the "Kungligt med Jenny" broadcast.
Victoria's closest friends are two Carolines. Caroline Dinkelspiel and Caroline Nilsson. Caroline Dinkelspiel followed Victoria to USA and they studied there together, Victoria was her bridesmaid. Caroline Nilsson is one of Sweden's richest women, and her father Björn was king Carl Gustaf's very good friend. When Björn died of cancer in 1999, the king and queen became like extra parents to Caroline Nilsson.
Louise Thott is Madeleine's best friend. They met at Enskilda Gymnasiet and have hanged together ever since. Louise studied in London when Madeleine moved there, they have studied together in Stockholm. Louise is very involved in World Childhood Foundation. Louise is an interior decorator and has helped Madeleine to decorate many of her homes. At Madeleine's wedding Cedric Notz, one of Chris's best friends, was the bestman. At the wedding he met Andrea Brodin, one of Victoria's best friends, and now they live together in Lidingö and have a daughter.
King Carl Gustaf is a very good friend of Aje Philipson, they have known since they were very young. The king has a big group of friends, and collects them to various clubs.
Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister was one of queen Silvia's closest friends. She meant very much for the queen. They met already in 1972 in Germany. Alice helped the queen to build her Household, which wasn't so easy then when the court was filled with elder, conservative men. Abba sang "Dancing Queen" to Silvia, but she didn't know then that one of members of Abba would become one of her closest friends. Anni-Frid Lyngstad, who married in 1992 prince Heinrich Ruzzo of Reuss, who was a friend of king Carl Gustaf, they had studied together in Sigtuna. Seven years after the wedding Anni-Frid became a widow, and queen Silvia was a great support to her then. Anni-Frid shares with the queen a great interest in charity work.
Carl Philip's best friend is Jan-Åke Hansson, they studied together and Lundsberg and Jan-Åke was Carl Philip's bestman at the wedding. Carl Philip and Madeleine are very close and they share the circle of friends. Two other friends: Janne "Flash" Nilsson learned Carl Philip to race and Mattias Klum, a nature photographer, has helped Carl Philip at his interest in photography. Mattias was Carl Philip's mentor for many years.
Sofia is very close to her sisters. Sofia was at Paradise Hotel, and there was also hairdresser Marre Hitti. Today they are good friends and Marre is the one who often does Sofia's hairdos.
All friends of the royal family are loyal, discreet and absolutely not tell anything to the press. If they do, then they are out.

It would have been interesting whom they would have named as Daniel's best friends, but they didn't speak about him at all.

Interesting to note that SvenskDam doesn’t know that Marre Hitti doesn’t do most of Sofia’s hair anymore. She has a new hairstylist who has done her hair for most for her engagements in the past 3 years.

Andrea Brodin and Cedric Notz are getting married.
Andrea wrote to her blog two days ago:
Now it is happening, dear blog readers, we are getting married in August.
I have longed to write this and give it to you. We have been talking about getting married for several years and I already have an engagement ring but we have never come to terms when / where / how.
There has always been something in between. Jobs, relocation, renovation, children, life, other priorities than just arranging a wedding. But now after a long corona-spring at home with a little more time left than usual and a lot of time for the family, we both felt it was time. So at the end of August our little wedding will be off and it will be so fun and wonderful!

Andrea Brodin and Isabella flew yesterday to Rome. Andrea tells at her blog that the flight to Zurich was quite full with mostly Swiss people. Cedric came to Rome from Switzerland, where he had spent a couple of days, he had not been there since early February. Andrea tells that everwhere is sale in Rome. After three months of lockdown, the stores have a lot they need to get rid of. Isabella found a nice pair of shoes. One can see that the Italians have suffered greatly from the long lockdown. There is a "virus panic" that is not felt at all in the same way in Sweden. Andrea writes that everyone is so happy and grateful for the few tourists that have come and that the trade is slowly getting started again.

Interior designer profile Andrea Brodin will be the face of HTH's upcoming inspiration campaign in the Nordic countries.
Andrea Brodin is one of Sweden's most well-established profiles in interior design and design. In addition to that, she also has a background as a writer and is often seen on television in connection of interior design. For Andrea and her family, the kitchen has always been the most important place in the home and so it became a priority when they moved into their 70s villa on Lidingö in Stockholm.
The choice fell on VH-7 - one of HTH's most flexible kitchen solutions that can be easily and smartly adapted to the customer's needs and the conditions of the room.
- We are extremely pleased to be able to deepen our collaboration with Andrea Brodin. Her eye and passion for interior design and design fits well with HTH's philosophy that the kitchen is the heart of the home, where we gather and socialize with those we love, says Ulrik Skou Severinsen, Country Manager HTH Sweden.

They have spend a couple of days in Tuscany at a house of their friends. Andrea writes at her blog:
I must say that this trip has really been an eye-opener for how people actually had it this spring. I've talked to Italians, British, Frenchmen, restaurant owners, hotel owners, service staff, shop staff etc. It's so easy to have a view from home through the media but to really talk to people who have gone through something we may not even imagine - it is clearly this has left traces in people in a way that we in Sweden have not experienced in the same way when we have not been in lockdown.
But wherever we have been, we have been received with open arms. The fact that we come from Sweden is not a concern, many people think we have done quite right and had wished that Italy, for example, had not had such a strict lockdown, especially in the southern parts which did not have so many cases if some. But as they say themselves "it had never worked with the voluntary measures you have done - we are just not like this, no one had listened or followed any advice in the same way as you people in the north". By comparison, we have also had many of the rules and demands that they have here and our relationship in Sweden to social distance is clearly better than here. Here you hide behind the "safety of the mask".

While they were in Italy, Andrea Brodin and Cedric Notz went to beach club La Macchia in Capalbio. It's a membership club but they got to go there as Cedric knows the family that owns the club. They had a lunch with friends from England, Holland, France, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland.

And now the Brodin-Notz family is in Provence. They drove from Italy by car and picked up the big kids + dog Jaxy at the airport in Nice. Andrea writes about what happened at the airports. On the flight to Rome (via Zurich) Andrea needed to fill in a health declaration, a place in the flight and contact details on where She would be in the nearest time so they could easily infect if someone around her on the plane was going to get sick. Upon arrival in Rome, the temperatures were taken on all passengers and their bags were sprayed with alcohol.
In Nice when Andrea's children arrived, nothing. No forms on the plane, no temperatures taken, no bags cleaned.
Andrea took the post away on Wednesday evening.

Andrea tells at her blog that their wedding will be in Sweden. And that they are trying to get things together for the wedding. It is a mini-wedding because of everything, but you still want it to be wonderful and atmospheric. They have sent the invitations, set the theme and flowers, Andrea has fixed a dress for herself and clothes for Ivar so far. Now they are thinking about the music and Andrea asked for suggestions for a nice song in English during the ceremony. However, she is not going to sing herself as she did at both Ivar and Isabella's christenings.
Andrea is also planning the table decorations with flowers.

About them coming to Provence, obviously the house belongs to Andrea's parents (Andrea and Cedric have been there almost every summer), because she writes that due to covid, travel restrictions and family members in the risk group, no one has been able to be there for over six months so they really needed to come and take care of the house. There was a lot to do.

Jaxy seems to have had a great time
