Peter Forsberg and his company take over Årsta Castle

Here is Tuesday's bombshell in southern Stockholm.
Former hockey player Peter Forsberg, 44, will be the one who will get the area around Årsta Castle at Haninge Golf Club. In addition to working for getting more restaurant visitors, he will open a spa. He will also build 1,500 homes around Torvallas sports ground area.
At 10 o'clock on Tuesday, a brief press conference was commenced at Haninge municipality.
Main person: Peter "Foppa" Forsberg.
The former hockey professional, who currently partly resides in Östermalm and this fall moves to Switzerland to focus on the shoe company he has bought, has signed a letter of intent with Haninge municipality.
Partly, "Foppa" becomes the one to get Haninge municipality's problematic Årsta castle on feet. The municipal-owned castle, adjacent to Haninge Golf Club and Haninge Strand Golf Club, has for several years replaced the restaurateurs without increasing the visitor's number.
Now Peter Forsberg will develop the castle area.
- Although the castle is so nice, only the golfers will find it. There are few to see and exploit the area, but there is potential, "says Peter Forsberg at the press conference.
He talks that he wants to invest well at Årsta Castle, and that you can see results quickly.
Peter Forsberg has long been in discussions with the landowners around the castle.
A spa facility is up to date, in the future he also opens to build villas, but Haninge municipality earlier ideas about a larger Haninge Strand or Haninge maritime project was not mentioned at the press conference.
"Foppas" vision seems to be a kind of family and resort project - which he hopes can make the castle restaurant work well.
- You can eat outside at the castle, have a picnic. Perhaps there should be a skateboard park, maybe a big chess game. We are hoping for a spa, but the biggest thing is to make the area accessible to all. So as many as possible will see how nice it is out there, says "Foppa".
The letter of intent also means that Peter Forsberg's company will fix the area around Torvalla Sports Center in Handen by developing 1,200-1,500 residential units.

When I saw Lovisa de Geer yesterday at the wedding, I suddenly remembered the children's book "Sofi & Jakob reser till London" (Sofi & Jakob travel to London) she published some months ago. And that Sofi and Jakob refer to her sister and brother Sophie and Jacob. They are all friends of the royal family.

(Baron) Jacob de Geer, 42, is Victoria and Daniel's friend, they attended at his and Nicole's wedding (they are divorced now) and Jacob is one of the inspirators at Prince Daniel's Fellowship.

"Five years ago I met the man with the big M, Cedric, Ced, Ceddie, Teddie ... The family has many names on him but it's only Ivar who says Teddie.
Same place today, but how much has happened during these five years. Almost unimaginable. But then it was "meant to be". <3
We were introduced by common friends, both Swedish and international, whom we both know and Cedric says that he knew after 20 minutes that it would be us. Maybe I was not as fast, but it did not take long before I realized that what we experienced was very special. There is strikingly often telepathy between us, in a way I've never had before. Very cool and beautiful.

Bathina Philipson became a best friend against all odds with Count Carl-Adam "Noppe" Lewenhaupt. They came from different worlds. Nevertheless, the immigrant girl and count became best friends until his tragic death.
In March 2017, the successful restaurateur and king's friend Carl Adam "Noppe" Lewenhaupt was found dead in the water at Hundudden at Djurgården in Stockholm by a passerby.
- It's important that we start talking about mental health. It is after all a disease which not everyone understands. Another problem is that most sick people hide how they feel, says Bathina Philipson.
- When something like this happens to your friend or family member, it is clear that you have thought about whether something could have been done to prevent it. I think Noppe had decided. There was nothing that could have stopped him. He was an incredibly happy person, unselfish and he gave himself to others in all situations. He was always close to laugh but there was also another side there too, which he must have been very good at hiding. A human being is complex. In good and bad. Noppe was a very dear friend to me and when he disappeared, it was like a slap in the face.

The king's late friend count Carl Adam "Noppe" Lewenhaupt's stepson Leonard Johansson and Linnea Taube, the daughter of king Carl Gustaf and queen Silvia's friends Per and Åsa Taube, are dating.
Leonard, 30, and Linnea, 28, are childhood friends.
Leonard runs the exclusive membership club Noppe since his stepfather Noppe Lewenhaupt died last year. Linnea is the daughter of the property owner Per Taube, owner of, among other things, Arlanda City, Steninge Castle and Stockholms Auktionsverk.
Leonard and Linnea to Expressen:
- Our families celebrated New Year in Thailand. There it started, just after that we started dating. Previously, we were friends, says Linnea.
- It's great fun. It happens a lot all the time, says Leonard.
The couple recently moved into a Taube Family's house in Steninge at Sigtuna. There they live together with their dog Jackie. And soon they get a miniature pig from Skåne.
They also have an apartment at Östermalm in Stockholm.
- Leo is great, very kind and fun, says Linnea.
- Linnea is amazing, very eccentric and jokeful. She has a lot of energy, says Leonard.
Recently, Noppe's Club had its traditional summer party at Café Opera in Stockholm. Leonard continued the tradition after his stepfather and greeted all the 700 guests.
- All members are happy to continue the club in Noppe's spirit. Noppe would have wanted it too. I feel very positive winds, said Leonard.
Linnea works in the Widforss hunting shop in Stockholm, where her father's company is a partner.
- Now we have holiday. We will take it easy in Steninge and arrange the house. We will drive around and meet relatives in Sweden, says Linnea.

Peter Forsberg about olympic gold medalist Vibeke Skofterud dying at a jet-ski accident:
"Foppa" got to know Vibeke Skofterud during the recording of the TV4 program "Det Största Äventuret" (The Biggest Adventure).
- She was happy and outgoing. A nice person. It's unfortunate what happened, says "Foppa" to the Sport magazine, telling that they spent four weeks in Kenya and Nepal.
- She was with all the way to the final. We were in the same travelling company, two weeks in Kenya and two weeks in Nepal.

Andrea tells at her blog that there are not so many days left in Switzerland. On Wednesday she and Isabella fly home to the big children. Cedric stays with his mom for a few days.
Andrea says that there is a lot of packing, they have been away from Sweden since June 20th. And Cedric's mother gave her some fine porcelain, which has to be packed very well.
In mid-August the work really starts, in News Morning August 17th and then it's Formex and moderator jobs and she goes to Germany. In September, there will be a trip to the Maison & Objet interior in Paris and to Italy as moderator and News Morning of course.
On Saturday Andrea, Cedric and Isabella went to a flea market.

Andrea and Cedric had a nice day at Cedric's mother's house yesterday. Cedric hiked there with their friends, Andrea waited there with Isabella and one friend with her children. After the friends had left, Andrea, Cedric and Isabella stayed there for the night.

On Tuesday Andrea and Cedric were walking at Gstaad cemetery. Cedric photographed Andrea, and of course Isabella wanted to be at the photo too. Andrea had got a lovely vintage skirt from Cedric's mother.

On Wednesday Andrea was back in Sweden again and tells at her blog that it was moving to see how glad Isabella was when she saw her siblings when they got out from a taxi.

Svenska Hjältar (Swedish Heroes) has launched a new prize with Aftonbladet's Sportbladet - Årets Sportshjälte (the Sports Hero of the Year).
Peter Forsberg, the chairman of the Jury of Svenska Hjältar, says that there are many leaders and material caretakers out there who work ideally without ever gaining any attention.
This year, Svenska Hjältar, together with Sportbladet, has set a new award, which is called: The Sports Hero of the Year.
The headlight should be aimed at driving spirits who give all of their time to help others find joy and success in sports. It may be material managers, coaches, nonprofit organizations or individuals.
Peter Forsberg praises the initiative.
- Without all the driving spirits, sport Sweden does not work. There are many who sharpen skates at two o'clock at night, for someone else to perform.

Andrea Brodin writes at her blog very beautifully about her grandmother passing away yesterday morning, at the age of 92. Andrea's maternal grandmother came from Hungary to Sweden when she was 20 years old. Grandmother loved to travel, ski and she was a very good tennis player.

Hänt i Veckan tells about Djursholm Country Club, a private membership club which the king's friend Stefan Persson and his son Karl-Johan Persson have founded. Also the son-in-law of Stefan Persson, Martin HP Söderström is with as a member of the board. Stefan Persson has with his money and entourage created a rare exclusive membership club where among others king Carl Gustaf is a member.
The Club's premises are at the beautiful Villa Pauli, the club is a tenant there. Villa Pauli's owner Arnfinn Röste (he owns it by his company) tells that the updated interior decoration has been done by Louise "Lussan" Gottlieb and Karl-Johan Persson's wife Leonie Persson. Arnfinn Röste tells that it is also fun, that the club works at Villa Pauli, because Karl-Johan and Leonie Persson met each other there.
If you are accepted as a member, it costs SEK 250 000 and the annual subscription costs SEK 50 000.
