I think they don't want to miss this tour too, it's a great opportunity for them to meet their future colleague.

William must be freezing. Victoria looks great...until you see her without her coat.

In one of the videos on Twitter, (I'll look back and see if I can't find it.), William is speaking with someone in the crowds and discussing his lips going numb from the cold!

- Sorry couldn't resist.
Balding men should always wear caps and hats iat this time of year. And I'm actually being serious. You lose a tremendous amount of body heat through your head. - And after a few days he won't feel silly anymore.
And even though a wind chill factor of what was it -1 or -6 C, means people begin to wear gloves when we stay outside for a longer period here in Scandinavia, we've after all had a couple of months to get used to the cool weather. W&K haven't.
Is the cold dry or wet in Stockholm right now? If it's wet you should add a few more degrees to the windchill factor.

I know I might be in the minority, but I actually like the Erdem dress on Catherine. The color is really nice on her (not on everyone though) and the cut is very good, maybe a little bit Victorian/hippy, but I'm digging it.

It looks like the visit is going very well so far. Stockholm is a lovely city, although just a tad chilly in the winter. William and Kate seem to have a nice rapport with Victoria and Daniel and I’m sure have been made to feel very welcome.

No video of them greeting the King and Queen?

We could see that William and Kate had a private meeting with the prime minister and his wife. William and Kate met also the minister for Education and Research, Helene Hellmark Knutsson, at the Nobel Museum.

Better safe than sorry, especially when pregnant. Also, lets not forget the Cambridge's are coming from a relativeky warmer climate.

The coverage in Svensk Damtidning is of course massive. Svensk Damtidning is IMO not a particularly serious magazine, but at least you'll get a Swedish perspective.
Here we learn about the two, no three Swedish words Kate knows: Hej då = hello/goodbye and tack = thanks.

For those who wish to immerse themselves in similar articles, go here: https://www.svenskdam.se/kategori/kungligt/
But of course Victoria and Daniel are very much in focus on this site.

I am just now home. I did sneak peeks at the coverage during the day.
I'm from a hockey family and so I completely enjoyed all the bandy coverage. Those little people on the ice learning the game flood my heart with memories and hope for the future.
And I thought the two couples out in front of the palace were charming together! Banter and good will all over the place. The video that I saw from in the crowd was quite loud and the locals seemed to be happy to see those four.
The pictures in the palace of the 6 royals together that the DM chose late this morning my time were atrocious. Not a single photo where the group was looking or acting together for the official photo. I hope they fixed that, but doubt they did. In addition to all the shade they throw in text, the DM really has a subtext they are pushing in some of their photo selection.
I too was surprised at how much taller the Cambridges were than Vic and Daniel. Context is everything.
