She must have thousands of them... in every possible colour and pattern... do you think she would mind giving me just this little one... I bet it wouldn't make any difference to her:p

yeah... perhaps

Thank you so much for the photos. The royal family of Spain are my favorite. They seem to be such warm individuals. They show a lot of class. As a former Labor and Delivery nurse, Letizia's baby has dropped. I think there's going to be a baby soon.

Thanks for all the pictures, its nice to see the children are there watching their parents.

Imagine if she like the Queen choose a Valentino gala dress or Like Elena a dress from Lacroix or Oscar de La Renta, they would have to cut down a forest to have enough paper in certain quarters.... Its a pitty she has not attended any galas during her pregnancy though.

Perhaps for the next one...

Once again, I must admire this entire family. Each in their own style, but all of them elegant and refined.

Here are some more from newscom. I tried not to repeat any images, but if I did, moderators, do your thing!

Letizia wears more expensive clothes than Elena and has more expensive purses as well. Don't worry they will have something to say about Elena sooner or later...

I'm sure I'm gonna catch some flack for saying this, but......She is such a pretty lady, I just wish she would soften her look up a little. It is a tad bit severe thus making her look older than her actual years. Please do not get me wrong, she is very pretty, she just looks older than she should. I would like to see her with a softer hair style and waxing and shaping her eyebrows would make her look much younger.
Just my opinion:rolleyes:

Well, I don't know how much does a Felipe Varela cost, but I can tell you for sure that an Adolfo Dominguez costs far cheaper than any Chanel or Lacroix...

Letizia looks marvelous. I remember the last month of the pregnancies as being very long and tiring yet she looks very radiant albeit a tad tired. The baby is probably getting in some hard kicks yet I did not see any pictures of Letizia grabbing her stomach - the usual reaction when you think the little babyfoot is coming right out through the stomach wall.

Although going only on wives tale signs - I guess a boy for Felipe and Letizia

You are totally confused, the suits of the Princess are cheaper enough than those of the Infanata Elena. Felipe Varela is a cheap designer in comparison with Lacroix or Chanel, and Adolfo Dominguez is a designer of whom any person of middle class can have several suits.
Evidently Letizia buys more clothes than the Infanta Elena, but it is logical, the Infanta has two or 3 acts a month, and the Princess every week.
And the purses and the shoes equal, Letizia takes them normally of Spanish marks, which are not so expensive. The shoes of Pure Lopez who has gone more of once do not cost any more than 120/150 Euros. Loewe's purses that also have someone (not if bought or ruled), they are expensive ... per more reduction sales that a Louis Vuitton or a Chanel.

Letizia can have some pieces of clothes of foreign designers, but most of her cupboard is full of Spanish marks that are cheaper than the big international marks.

Oh, i just realise ow that Letizia don't are with the rest of the famelly in the palace .....she should stay very tired with that big bump.

Thank you everyone for the beautiful pictures.:D

All royal ladies looked beautiful and I loved Elena's new hairstyle.;)

Thanks everyone for all the great pictures! :)

I remember Cristina and Inaki's two eldest sons being in attendance at last year's parade, along with Froilan and Victoria. Were the Urdangarin boys present again this year?

i don't think so. probably with the birth of irene they just decided to leave the children at home with a nanny as they can obviously not take the baby, irene...

But Juanito and Pablo could've gone while Miguel and Irene could've stayed home with the nanny. Last year Miguel was too young to go but his two oldest brothers went.

This year the Day of the National Holiday was a Wednesday, other years if it coincides in Tuesday or Thursday it joins in order week and the children do not have school. The Infanta Cristina lives in Barcelona, and the children would have school on Tuesday and thursaday, for what would be very heavy to travel with all.;)

I've seen many photos of the King and Prince kissing a lady's hand, and the the royal ladies hands are often kissed too. A lovely custom. But I was wondering if it's common for a man to kiss a lady's hand in regular Spanish society? Could our Spanish contributors inform me what is common? Or is it an old-fashioned courtesy, seen only in courtly circles or the most formal of occassions, but not commonly?

To kiss the hand of a lady is an act of courtesy, is not done habitually. The most common thing is to give the hand between gentlemen, and between ladies or a lady with a gentleman to give the hand or to give two kisses. ;)

Does anyone knows if there is a representation of the royal family in the wedding of Cayetano Martinez de Irujo with Genoveva on Saturday?

In the wedding of her sister, Eugenia, the Royal Family was represented by Infanta Elena and husband

They are two types of very different ceremonies. Eugenia's wedding was in a church of Seville, a more popular wedding, with many guests and many press. In this case, the ceremony will be more intimate, inside the Palace of the Duchess of Alba in Seville. So there will no be any more images that those who give they. Not if some member of the Royal Family will come or not to the Wedding ... but for my that do not go, I do not like Cayetano nothing is a capricious and bad-mannered child. A few months ago he criticized in a program of television the Royal Family for not supporting the equine one (that he practises, it is the only thing that he does) and to support other sports ... a senseless commentary, since the Infanta Pilar is the Chairwoman of the Federation of Equine.
