Today Letizia looked very good. I liked the dress earlier and I am glad she recycled it. Everything else is very well matched, shoes, stockings and nobody looks tired despite this extremely demanding schedule - but I found all recent events were quite interesting to attend, especially the Prado opening. So maybe it's really more fun than torture to them, as their faces show :)

Many thanks, Lula, for your so great contribution in pics and notices. Hopefully we can conserve some of this estupendous shots, thanks a lot again.

Yesterday evening both Royal Ladies looked really good. Queen Sofia was elegant as always and Princess Letizia had a lovely dress and a beautiful jacket. I think that black suits her really well. I also liked her hairdo and jewels.
I´m glad that Princess Letizia recycled the brown dress today, the dress is one of my favourites. I´m not so fond of Queen Sofia´s outfit today.
Both Royal Men had chosen a bright-coloured tie today.

Princess Letizia and King Juan Carlos today, looks a little bit awkward ...

picture of Letizia bowing to the Queen is nice, im in love with Letizia's coat today. thanks for the lovely pictures, they were really nice to look at

Thanks Lula for the pics!
Letizia looks great, one of her best outfits, in my opinion. She looks elegant, the dress is beautiful, I like the line and the colour and also the shoes are ok this time.
Queen Sofia looks nice but that is not my favourite outfit.
Mrs Zapatero outfit is ugly, in my opinion, wrong dress, wrong colour and in the wrong place.

The Princes have been extremely busy these last few months.

Letizia looks really lovely and I really like the brown suit/dress - is it new? It does make a change from the black and grey which she has worn a lot lately.

It's really nice to see so much of them.
:)

well raspberry coloured socks go well with brown shoes but the tie ,

I like sofia's suit except for the skirt, it would have looked stunning if the suit was plain and just the jacket adorned.

Letizia looks very nice:flowers:

El Prado de Moneo, inaugurado | elmundo.es - interesting pic - who dares to do a "caption this" ;)

http://i18.tinypic.com/6gmkit5.jpg - am I colour blind or is Felipe wearing red socks together with brown shoes and an orange tie

I like Letizia's brown outfit. She looks great and her hair too. She always manage to have the right make-up for every occassion. I don't like her black gown from the opening of El Pardo museum. She looks old IMO but Queen Sofia's blue gown is really nice. ;)

Every year a member of the Royal Family travels to New York to preside at this act. For the present time there is no confirmation of the one who will do it in this occasion.

Probably Cristina this year so that she can have another free trip to New York to visit Inaki again :).

He would never wear bordeaux shoes
they are brown
Actually calling his shoes bordeaux is as ridiculous as saying his socks are red!...
He's wearing socks as every civilised man does: obviously in the same colour of the shoes (call it the colour you want).

Just someone who doesn't understand that artificial light influences on the photography colours could make a big deal out of this!

He'll be in New York?

Yes, apparently Iñaki is doing a course in New York, he goes there from September, but it is not known till when he will continue being there.

A course in what?

A course in what?

I am not very well-informed, but I believe that it is on managerial topics, or on companies linked to the sport ...he is employed at this area.

Inaki has been in NY since Sept, whether he is doing a course or working depends on different sources. I was joking that Cristina would like to have another free trip to NY . If Hillary indeed comfirms her attendance, I think Queen Sofia will be there herself.

Yes, you have reason in the topic of the free trip.

It is true that probably in this occasion they look for a representation of higher level because the prize is for an Ex-president of the United States, and probably there returns to travel the Queen (also it would be good to send to the Princes that this year they have not been in the United States and every year they are in the habit of doing at least a trip). The Clinton always have supported a good relation with the Kings of Spain, and Hillary already has come to this gala in some occasion.

The Kings and Princes sent condolences on the death of Fernán-Gómez

The Kings and the Prince and Princess of Asturias have sent two telegrams of condolence to Emma Cohen and extend their feelings of pain to the children of actor Fernando Fernan-Gómez, died today in Madrid.

Don Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía have highlighted the multifaceted figure Fernán-Gómez as an actor, director, writer and academic language and have stressed that it has been a key figure in the arts in recent Spanish sixty years.

For its part, the Prince and Princess of Asturias, who also lament the loss of Fernán, have stressed, above all, his status awarded the Prince of Asturias prize for the Arts.
