Last week, Letizia went to Madrid bookfair to get some books for herself & the infantas. Queen Sofia went in official capacity to the bookfair, Letizia went in private. Probably because she didnt want to bump into her cousin who has his own space there on several days, signing his book 'Adios Princesa'.

Its not personal but about being a member of the SRF these days. The booing applies to all members, the Queen recently got hackled at several events, so did Elena & Felipe, not to mention Cristina & Inake. It's not new, the booing has been there for a long time but it has increased outside Catalonia, as here in Madrid or the Queen in Mallorca or Murcia recently. The crowds are not large, but they are there and organized.
There was significant booing at last year's PoA in Oviedo but the media were not too fond to mention it.
The worst booing took place inside a theater in Barcelona (after already being booed outside), when part of the invited guests booed F&L when they arrived on the balcony, whistling and shouting at them to clear off.
 
Now in Spain, there booed against everything and everyone that means power.

All sectors take advantage of public events with an impact on the media for their protests, it's always been and that's anywhere.

Generally members of the Royal Family attend these events with politicians, and often the attacks are mainly directed to those politicians. For example, at the Liceo was the delegate of the Government in Catalonia, that is a very controversial and criticized. In this act the protesters were also protesting against the minister of education and culture because they thought he was in the event.
 
Duke, in all countries with Monarchy, there are republican groups, that is democracy... and sometimes these groups protest. Probably the Spanish are more noisy, both to applaud and to protest.

In the event at the Liceo, politicians were at the door waiting. Not only were people protesting, there were people applauding, wanting to greet and taking photos.

Recently the queen also visited some villages in Aragon and Catuña, affected by a flood, and was received with much affection.

Today the Queen is in Asturias, accompanied by the Minister of Industry who is hated by the miners. The miners organize a lot of demonstrations and protests, so they will not lose the opportunity. On the other hand, women of the miners want to give a letter to the Queen.

Prince and Princess will go tomorrow to a ceremony of the Navy in Galicia, and people from the naval industry that has a serious crisis and have problems with the European Union, will also protest.

The country's situation is bad, there are protests every day and of every kind, and that also applies to the Royal Family. They have to accept it and continue doing their work, and that is what they are doing.
