Yes, well done, Letizia. Does anyone know if Letizia had a personal reason for choosing to be a patron of Organisation against Cancer. ? Have any family members been affected by this cursed disease. ?

Her aunt and godmother Cristina and her grandfather Jose Luis died of cancer.

Her grandfather Jose Luis died in 2005 of lung cancer. A month after the announcement of the wedding he was in the hospital, the Prince and Princess visited them often on the time and traces of the disease, how the loss of hair, were seen in the photographs.
