Princess de Asturias has seen how the summer period located it in the attention center. Doña Letizia has been the newness of this summer in Majorca, where curiosity has waked up. 25 of August. She is a beautiful princess, I also read about her past career....She could have been a perfect person to promote Spain, more in the future.

Letizia, Gemma, Felipe. Not that this is at all important but Gema is listed on the Olympic web site as being 5'4" and if Letizia doesn't have any heels on then she must be between 5'6"-5'7".

She was wearing flats so I guess that's finally settled, right? I always said she wasn't short but average height. It's just she's so petite framed and with such a tall big framed husband she looks tiny. In any case--thanks for the detective work!

You're most welcome. Yeah, I mean when you think about it 5'4" is slightly above average for women...hard to believe but true! So, Letizia is above average. And with her tiny frame she just looks small especially since Felipe is a giant!

well, i saw gema and she isn't so tall... she is short but very big in complexion... maybe letizia heights a bit less...

So she is about 5'1"-5'2". Letizia is still, imho, a great princess whether she's 5'4" or 5'7". Thanks for the info, Carlota.

Just out of curiosity to those who have been at this royal watching stuff longer than I. Was there a similarly long drawn out interest in Alexandra's height, especially since she is also married to a very tall man?

Thank you, donnaK. You're right. My mistake. What is 162cm? I thought that would be 5'3" 1/2 inches because 163cm is 5'4".

Therefore, Letizia is probably between 5'6" and 5'7" (168cm and 170cm). But, whatever her height is it's not really what counts in the scheme of things...

lucys, I don't remember people making such a fuss over Alexandra's height when she married Joachim. And, what I am curious about is why someone's height be so important? Alexandra is a perfectly normal height as is Letizia so why so much negativity about them being what some people call short?

Okay everyone I converted 1.61 with a conversion calculator and here is the result:

* 1.61 meters = 5.28215223 feet

Letizia is about 5'5" at the most and how did you know she was in flats?

If you want to repeat the result just go to google and type 1.61 meters to feet.
