Well, they don't exactly clarify that, in the text for that picture (the second one), they only say that Letizia has been spotted wearing trendy ensembles since her wedding. But I think that they're not designer outfits....

Another article about Letizia's Fashion
Source: Terra Brasil - In Portuguese.
This article was published in the website of Terra, an Internet Provider here in Brazil.
I translated it the best I could.
----------- Article ------------
Letizia: from the journalism to the royalty
The sophisticated Letizia wins the hearts of the Spaniards
Do you know who's the new darling of the Spaniards? Wrong who bet on the star Penelope Cruz. The current Spanish darling is Letizia Ortiz, the new Princess of Asturias. Her wedding to the prince Felipe de Borbon is one of the most commented subjects in Europe. The sober style of the journalist turned princess has been celebrated by the press, not only in Spain but worldwide.
Letizia, that always played safe with the sobers black and white ensembles at her public appearances is, little by little, including colors in her wardrobe, although not leaving behind her favorite color, white.
With jackets, short, long or emphasizing her waist - Letizia shows that elegance is her strong point.
Regarding designers, the new Princess of Asturias has been showing her fondness for her fellow Spaniards, mostly Adolfo Dominguez, but she doesn't leave behind a classic Armani or a more daring Lorenzo Caprille. Among a big wardrobe and a strong personality, Letizia already is victim of the inescapable question: is she a new Lady Di?
-------- End Article -----------
Okay, this question about her being a "new lady Di" was completely unecessary. Letizia's life doesn't seem much like Diana's. Letizia is older than Diana was when entered the BRF, she went to college, she worked hard. There's not much resemblance between both women besides the good taste for clothes and their beauty.
Pictures that came with the article (I didn't translate the captions yet)

I agree that it's totally unfair to Letizia (or any other royal wife) to make comparisons to Diana. Letizia has a different life and personality, and the qualities that make her special to Felipe (and by extension, her future subjects and onlookers like me!) are what should be focused upon, not any kind of parellels between the Princess of Wales and royal wives of the current day. Nifty pictures, though! :)

I hope not be bad understude. But Diana is a child when she married and she don't now nothing for live and what she gona have when she married with Charles. I like her but i belive she a silly gril that was creat in a very restrite world. Other wifes are normally person like us that have to work and fight for what they want and womens that go for that fight that not quite very esaly. I belive that Diana is unique and Diana just is very famous for her personal life and mestakes and scandels.
In my opinion every human is unique and is bad taste do comparation.
Sorry if i heart some1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Letizia will star to "fly solo" tomorrow.... well, not exactly solo, since she'll be with the Queen, but it'll be her first engagement without Felipe, am I right?
Martes, 26 de octubre de 2004
PRESIDENCIA DE LA MESA PETITORIA DE LA "FIESTA DE LA BANDERITA"
Carrera de San Jerónimo. Congreso de los Diputados
Asiste con Su Majestad la Reina
I just could figure out that she'll preside something with the Queen. Could the Spaniards clarify it?
thanks a lot!

I agree with you, Micas!!! Diana was very special, bur when she married, she thaught that everything will be a fairy-tale. She didn't see (or she didn't want to see) that Charles didn't love her.
But Diana was a very kind kind person, and I was very-very sorry when she died.
Letizia isn't shy like Diana was, because Diana was 19 years and Charles was his first man. Letizia had 31 years when she married and she knew everything about life.
Diana had since her beggining as public figure, the total support of the British people and Letizia had to enfrent some difficulties from persons who didn't (don't) accept her.
So, I agree that this two woman cannot be compared.

Is it just me or does it seem like as time goes by, Letizia looks more and more tired and run down? If you look at photos of her from the announcement of her engagement to Price Felipe (white suit) and more recent pictures of her, she just doesn't look as fresh and "alive" so to speak, as she did.

Well, she has changed quite a bit. But we must not forget that since the announcment of her engagement (nearly 1 year ago...) her life has also changed radically. Suddenly she became the centre of attention of Spanish people, Spanish press, etc. That's stressful!
