Managua, 10 ene (ACAN-EFE) .-The prince of Asturias, inheritor of the Spanish Wreath, took advantage of his assistance to the transmission of presidential control in Nicaragua to have breakfast today with a group of representatives of diverse areas of the society of this country.

It seems they were all wearing a type of shirt like the guayaberas, and Felipe was not. Maybe they did not have his size. I bet he felt a little out of place...

Prince of Asturias will preside at funeral in Quito for two dead Ecuadorians
The Prince of Asturias will preside on Sunday in Quito at a funeral mass for both Ecuadoran dead workers in the attempt of last December 30 in the T-4 of the airport of Madrid of Barajas.

guayaberas can be considered as appropiate as a suit in central america. Specially in the hot days, a suit would be unbearable.
The prince is not the only one wearin a tie, some other people behind him are wearin them too. I suppose it was not that hot for him to still be comfortable in a suit

The prince Felipe de Borbón, who today comes to Quito to be present at the investiture of the new president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, will preside this Sunday at a mass for both Ecuadorians died in ETA's attempt in Barajas last month.
The inheritor of the Spanish Wreath will come to the Ecuadoran capital in the first hour of the morning and, to the midday, Raúl Vela will be present at the mass celebrated by the archbishop of Quito, in the church of Our Lady of Guápulo, in memory of Carlos Alonso Palate and Diego Armando Estacio.
The Prince of Asturias, on having visited the country of origin of the victims of ETA's attempt of last December 30 in the airport of Madrid of Barajas, requested that this mass was celebrating in their memory, to stress the solidarity and support of the Royal House and the Spanish people to their families, reported a speaker of the Prince.
To the mass it is foreseen that come diverse Ecuadoran authorities and also there are waited some relatives of Palate and Estacio, whose corpses were late several days in being recovered of the rubbles to which there remained limited a module of the parking of the terminus T-4 of Cards after the attempt with a van bomb placed by the terrorist band ETA.
Before the mass, Felipe de Borbón will be got by the salient president of Ecuador, Alfredo Palacio, and also he will meet on Sunday evening the new president of the country, Rafael Correa, to whom he will transmit the regards of his father, the King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
After the mass, the Prince will share on Sunday a luncheon deprived with a group of Ecuadoran personalities of diverse fields and, in the night, will receive to a representation of the Spanish community in Ecuador.
On Monday, the inheritor of the Spanish Wreath will come to the Legislative Palace of Quito to the ceremony of transfer of the power, in which Correa will swear the president's cargo and will receive, of hands of his predecessor, Palacio, the band that symbolizes the Headquarters of the Ecuadoran State.
Later, he will be present at an official luncheon offered by the new president of Ecuador the dignitary attendees at his investiture, before returning to Spain.
This one is the fortieth fourth occasion from 1996 in which the Prince of Asturias comes in name of his father, the King Juan Carlos, to the capture of possession of a Latin-American leader.

Prince Felipe comes to Ecuador for investiture of Correa as president
The Prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbón, came today to Quito to be present at the investiture of the leftist Rafael Correa as president of Ecuador.
The plane Airbus of the Air Spanish Force in which there came the Prince Felipe landed in the Air Base of the I Zona of the Ecuadoran capital to 07.30 local time (12.30 GMT).
The Ecuadoran minister of Exterior Relations, Francisco Carrión, received the Prince at the foot of the steps of the plane and together they listened from a podium to the national anthems of Spain and Ecuador.
The Prince of Asturias came accompanied by the secretary of State for Latin America, Trinidad Jiménez, and Anunciada Fernandez Córdoba, chief operating officer of multilateral Latin-American organisations.
After receiving chief's honors of State in the airport of Quito, the Prince Felipe inspected to a battalion of honors of the Military High school.
Don Felipe will meet today the Ecuadoran salient president, Alfredo Palacio, in sedate of the Executive, in the historical center of Quito, and to the midday will be present at a mass in recollection of both Ecuadorians died in Madrid last December 30 in the attempt of the terrorist band ETA.
The mass in memory of the Ecuadorians Carlos Palate and Diego Estacio will be celebrated in the church of Our Lady of Guápulo.
