The Prince of Asturias attended yesterday the funeral of the Emir of Kuwait, Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, who passed away on Sunday. Don Felipe travelled to Kuwait on Monday evening, in representation of his father, the King, and of the Spanish Government.
Don Felipe returns today to Madrid and Saturday he will fly to Bolivia, in order to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new elected president, Evo Morales. On Monday, he will travel to El Salvador and, afterwards, to Honduras.

Well, you have a valid point in there, but I hope someone of the SRF would be there (as they seem to be everywhere these days )

I don't underestand why there where nobody from the Royal House, at least Elena or Cristina. On the other hand Felipe was never appointed as a godparent, you can chek on this on the Danish Royal House website.

Well I never had the impression that the Spanish and Danish were close which is weird because they both share close connections with the Greek Royals.

Well, I think both British and Spanish should have sent someone to Christian's christening (funny choice of words I know) since Felipe is so busy one of his sisters would have been able to go to Denmark, but who knows why did that happened since the SRF seem to have a very good relationship with the other royal houses in Europe and abroad

i don't think it's neccessary for every royal household to send someone to the christening. perhaps frederik & mary only invite those people close to them. yes.. it would be extremly great to see some spanish royals there. but, at the end, we will never know what happened. perhaps they sent invitation privately to felipe & letizia, and they couldn't make it. and et cetera and et cetera..

Well, Danes seem to make a big event out of everything so that's why I said it was strange that anyone from the SRF was there; Belgium, Netherlands are not closer to Denmark than Spain and they were there so...

Yes but Belgium and the Netherlands have more connections with Denmark. The Benelux and Scandanavian Monarchies are traditionally close. Also, the British dont really interact officially and publicly with royals from the continent sadly. But I hear the keep close contacts with each other in private.

The Badajoz will solicit to be received by prince Felipe
the maximum proprietor of the Badajoz, Eloy Guerrero, informed yesterday that the organization albinegra is going to ask for the Royal House that Prince de Asturias receives to the leaders and the group of the club in the occasion of his centenary. Guerrero made these declarations after the maintained meeting, along with several members of the organizing committee of the acts of the centenary of the club, with the mayor of Badajoz, Miguel Celdrán, to present to him the program.

Today it is an eve day and I rest in the residence of the princes of Asturias. It does 20 he reached the adult age and swore the Constitution in a solemn ceremony, that to 18 years sight waits for his daughter, the infanta Leonor.

But let's return to the topic. Provided that the inhabitants of the palace of the Zarzeula are not of them of using the dates of their life to increase the national episodes, it is difficult until someone explains what it means " the Prince will pass his anniversary privately ". At the moment, on eve, or, today, he will spend it resting, since yesterday Saturday came to Madrid after one week in the one that has been in Bolivia, El Salvador and Honduras. I do not say " don Felipe has returned from an exhausting trip ", not not also " dona Letizia has remained in house, following punctually the work of her husband, while she purifies her maternal fall ". I do not say it because any reader - as one has made me know - interprets that I consider to be exceptional merits the daily acts of don Felipe and, more concretly, those of dona Letizia, and, if it is what is understood, it will be that I do not know myself to explain. The princes of Asturias have an area especially what they realize and it does that the good thing, the bad thing is praised and up to the bland thing. Dona Letizia returns to work this Tuesday and, logically, she has it better than many mothers, for not saying that almost all the hard-working mothers; but there will be necessary to grant to her the benefit of which, though her life is favoured, she does not have the privilege of living through it privately. Because of it, it finishes being understood that, when there is something that to celebrate, the Zarzuela closes its doors.

Twenty years of the oath of the Prince
Prince de Asturias celebrates his 38 birthdays tomorrow, but he is not an anniversary more. Don Felipe will live this date for the first time being father, with the guaranteed dynastic continuity. Also 20 years are marked since the Constitution swore
MADRID. After an intense tour by three Latin American countries - in hardly seven days she has traveled to Bolivia, El Salvador and Honduras -, His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias returned yesterday to his residence of the Palace of the Zarzuela to tomorrow celebrate with her wife and daughter her 38 birthdays. Ever since the small one was born, Don Felipe never had been so many days followed without seeing her. It will be indeed the presence of the girl which will turn the anniversary of the Prince, first who celebrates being father, in a very special date, since Doña Leonor supposes the guarantee of the dynastic continuity.
But tomorrow also twenty years of an important event in the history of Spain will be marked: the oath of fidelity of the Heir of Corona to the Constitution and the King Until then, in General Cortes the last one had sworn Kings of Spain -, Alfonso XIII, in 1902 -, but never Princes of Asturias. That day Don Felipe reached most of age -18 years and in fulfillment of article 61 of the Constitution, it pronounced with clear and calm voice his oath in the presence of his parents, the Kings; of its grandfathers, the Count of Barcelona; of the Government and Cortes chosen by the town. "Right of perpetual ownership to perform my functions faithfully, to keep and to make keep the Constitution and the laws, respecting the right of the citizens and the independent Communities, and fidelity to the King".
