Do you know if there are some photos of the private dinner that letizia/felipe had in an italian restaurant on their wedding birthday?

There are no pictures, because it was a private dinner, and everyone thought that they are going to celebrate their aniversary at home.But they didn't.Good for them.

if there was a journalist there it's quite strange he didnt take pics... he would know there would be a lot of expectations of that photos and would take them. perhaps the bodyguards did not let him...

that there were no journalists. There was someone (Carlos Perez Gimeno) who told that the Princes were there, but they only knew it afterwards... so they missed them this time...

That was what the journalist said in the television that not habia seen them. It is strange because they have them very watched, and plus the day of the anniversary, perhaps they thought that after the trip they would not leave house and being Sunday they were not going to have to the photographers working for anything.

It is not the same suit, the cut of the jacket is different and the type from weave also. It is only the same color, and one more a stature.

Why armchairs of the two first rows in a hall are empty? where are spectators?!

The princes of Asturias, accompanied by the minister of Culture, Carmen Calvo, will inaugurate today, at the Park of the Retirement, the 64th edition of the Fair of the Book of Madrid. The minister will present Don Felipe and Doña Letizia the Complete Stories, of Hans Christian Andersen, The First Illustrators of the Quijote, of José Manuel Lucia Megías, and the facsimiled edition of the magazine Poetry, published on the centenary of Manuel Altolaguirre. Besides, she will give them the Ministry’s publications made on the occasion of the International Fair of the Infantile and Youthful Book of Bologna.

The "family photo" (as it is called in Spanish) with the orchestra is taken after the concert is over, so the spectators have all gone home.

Any Face-to-Face members out there? They have some photos posted as well.

The trip to Japan is on. They arrive on June 2, but activities start June 3, and they stay only through June 5. I was wondering why they were visiting the Expo now, if Spain's nation day is in July, but they are actually going for the VIII annual Spain-Japan Forum, designed to promote business and cultural ties between the two countries, and the Expo visit is sort of secondary.

Here's the provisory schedule, according to the article posted by Lucys:

June 2nd - the Princes arrive in Tokyo

June 3rd - Don Felipe will preside over the VIII Forum Spain-Japan, whose objective is to reinforce the bows between both countries. On that same day, TRH cshall have dinner with the emperors of Japan, Akihito and Michiko, at the Imperial Palace.

June 4th - Don Felipe and Doña Letizia will offer a reception to the Spanish community in Japan and, in the evening, they will travel to Nagoya, capital of the province of Aichi.

June 5th - the Princes will visit the Expo Aichi-2005, with special attention to the pavilions of Japan and Spain. They shall leave Nagoya and return to Tokyo on that same day, to have dinner with Prince Naruhito and Masako, before flying back to Spain.

The baby is the best what could happen to Letizia. She looks so much more relaxed, beautiful and glowing. There´s finally (again) "life" in her (double meaning here )
