The Princes of Asturias, Don Felipe and Letizia, and the Princesses Leonor and Sofía has agreed to become honorary members of the Gymnastics Segoviana.
Tras una reciente visita del Heredero de la Corona, el presidente de la Junta Gestora le propuso esta iniciativa que, en todo momento, contó con aprobación de Don Felipe, quien pidió al presidente de la Junta Gestora del Club el envío de unos carné de socios a la familia Real.​

Btw, I'm a bit curious about the fact that the Prince and Princess of Asturias attend the Foreing Press Association Media Awards. Consideing that there is no Spanish media awared this year and that it's and Foreing Press Associacion In London, United Kingdom..., I can understan that PoW attended last year, but I dont know which is the reason of the attendance of Felipe and Letizia.

Is this the first time Felipe & Letizia attened an official event in London? Is Felipe patron or head of the awards? Its interesting seeing him in London handing awards out and not in Spain.

OMG who writes Felipe's speeches? It must be one of Zarzuela's grey men as the speech just confirmes what was clear for a long time, that Letizia is not allowed to speak in public as soon as hubby is around. Letizia was a journalist indeed, but becoming a princess meant Zarzuela shut her up and transformed her into a mere accessory. Felipe seems to like this role allocation so much that he even decides to stress the facts in public. Yes the Borbon men like their wives to be dutiful with the admiration look on the face but this is where it ends when it comes down to business.
