Thanks everyone! Wasn't there something in an article a while ago about them going to Japan? What happened to that trip?

Everything she does, she wears or the curiosities that surround the Princess of Asturias are analyzed in detail. One inquires about it and, most of the time, is turns fashionable. Doña Letizia, in spite of being engaged to Don Felipe for more than a year, continues being protagonist of most news generated in our country.

Now, the investigators of the archaeological station of Atapuerca are planning to give the name of Letizia to their last discovery. It’s the eldest (80000 years) jaw ever found in the excavations that are taking place in Burgos.

It's not in June, but in May, starting on May 9th. It's an intense visit of five days to Balears, where they will have a series of meetings with the civil society, industralists, unions, associations.
Here's an article about that visit, with the respective schedule:

According to Diario de Mallorca, that program of the official visit to Balears is only a rough draft, according to what sources from the Royal House had confirmed to the newspaper. The agenda presented by Ultima Hora explained their visit until the minimum detail, but official sources explain now that "it is impossible to confirm the program, because we don’t even know the exact date, as we are still working on it. The first days of May are among the suitable dates, but there is nothing surely drawn, because it has to be adapted to several commitments", added La Zarzuela. La Casa del Rey has shown in addition its dissatisfaction for the filtration of this agenda, which is nothing more than a first draft, and that can even make difficult the work of the Security Services.

Don Felipe and Doña Letizia will officially visit the Balears for the first time, and they will cross the four islands: Majorca, Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera.

Next 22nd of May is celebrated the first wedding anniversary of Felipe de Borbón and Letizia Ortiz (this year agreeing on a Sunday) and the princes of Asturias are now considering how they are going to celebrate it. According to sources of El Chivato, one of the subjects they are deciding is whether the celebration is going to be a private or a public celebration and, in that case, to what extent.

The subject is also being considered by La Zarzuela, where some requests have already arrived from the media, mainly televisions, wanting to get material for their commemorative programs. El Chivato says that one channel in particular has solicited an interview with the princess of Asturias, and that the answer – as it is usual procedure in La Zarzuela- was that there’s no custom to give this kind of interviews.

Until now, Letizia Ortiz has not made any statements as princess of Asturias.

But according to near persons from the royal couple, they are going to celebrate it in private.

I doubt they are going to but I would love if they gave an interview together. I thought it was a shme they didn't do anything before the wedding like how they did a documentary in Denmark where they followed Mary around and interviewed her.
