Excuse my ignorance,but which thread would that be Elsa?Been looking,couldn't find it,yet.Btw,they were there,as well as A & M and Queen B.They were among the guests already at Berg Castle,so the photographers "missed" them,that's all.

The Princes deliver in Cadiz the offices to the sergeants of the Navy in an act marked by the event of Valencia
The Princes of Asturias, don Felipe de Borbón and dona Letizia Ortiz, did delivery today in San Fernando (Cadiz) of the Royal Offices to the Subofficials' new promotion of the Bodies of Infantry of Marina and specialists of the Navy, in an act that was marked by the recollection to the victims and relatives of the accident registered yesterday in the underground of Valencia, which did that there was suspended the glass of spanish wine programmed in the gardens of the school.
In the ceremony of the delivery of Royal Offices, the Prince of Asturias gave the congratulation to 180 subofficials, 26 belonging ones to the body of Infantry of Marina and 154 new recruits to the Specialists' body of the Navy, and did delivery of the offices to the numbers one of every body, they imposing the Cross of the Naval Merit, on Juan Simón Santalla and Marco Antonio Castro, who besides received a saber as prize end of career of the president of the Deputation of Cadiz, Francisco Gonzalez Cabaña.
After the delivery of offices there took place the movement of the flag and the celebration of a mass in honor to the fallen. Later, the military archbishop, Francisco Perez, before going to the sergeants' new promotion referred to the deceaseds and relatives of the event of Valencia, qualifying the fact of ' horrible accident ' and having them ' present in the prayer '.
In the same way there began his allocution the commander the director of the School of Subofficials, Enrique Gonzalez Ecija, who showed his ' pain for the tragic event ' and his 'solidarity' with the relatives of the victims.
Later, there took place the interpretation of the anthem of the Navy, a parade and the retreat of the Subofficials, remaining suspended the glass of Spanish wine that the new subofficials and their relatives had to share with the Princes of Asturias.

I just posted a thumbnail over on that photo/thread ... they were in attendance, as the photograph proves, so all the strange anger spilt out at them for their absence was nonsense.

You are right about their presence, there is a picture of the guests on the silver wedding thread and the Prince and Princess were there. For the moment the picture is very small, not much to see, but we'll see better ones for sure.

I have seen the Princess in TV, and she is beautiful today.She takes a beig garment with a brown belt and her hair this one gathered in a cue

I would add that ANY anger split on Princes or anyone else is so sad. But what can we do :). I'm glad they were there... what can you tell us about that tiny pic?... or I could go to the thread  .

Has Felipe ever served in any of the three branches? Air Force, Army or Navy? He seems to wear or have in his closet every uniform--has he earned it? Has he been to training? Has he served in the army? Has he been deployed anywhere?

From September 1985 to July 1988, His Royal Highness trained at the General Military Academy in Zaragoza, the Naval School in Marin and the General Academy of the Air Force in San Javier, and in July 1989 received despatches as Infantry Lieutenant, Sub-Lieutenant and Lieutenant of the Air Arm.
The ranks he holds in the Spanish Armed Forces today are those of Commander of the General Land Army Corps (Infantry), Lieutenant Commander in the General Navy and Commander of the General Air Force. He is also a helicopter pilot, qualified for instrument flight in Air Force Squadron 402. He has his Helicopter Pilot's Wings for both the Land Army and the Navy.
From September 1999 to June 2000, he attended a refresher course in Security and Defence.
