When concluding the prize-giving ceremony, Doña Sofía, who was accompanied by her sister Princess Irene of Greece, proudly showed to the minister of Culture, Carmen Calvo, the photo of Infanta Leonor that she has on her mobile phone. Kings will celebrate the XXXth anniversary come throne in a concert in Tenerife

The Kings of Spain will celebrate next November 22 the trigésimo anniversary of the arrival to Don Juan Carlos' throne with a concert in the Audience Prince Felipe of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, they informed to Efe governmental sources.
This act will be the colophon of the visit of three days of duration that the Monarches will do to the Canary Islands between 20 and on November 22 and that will take them for Lanzarote's islands, Gran Canary and Tenerife.

The King received this evening a copy of the ' Dictionary panhispánico of doubts ' (DPD), and was grateful for the work of all those who have taken part in the elaboration, because the Spanish helps to unify, with the own peculiarities of every country.
Don Juan Carlos received in hearing the directors of twenty-two Academies of the Spanish Language, authoresses all of them of the Dictionary, and to the maximums responsible for the mass media of the Spanish-speaking world, which also have collaborated in this project destined to more than 400 million persons who speak Spanish.

The Council of Administration of Vocento has granted his Prize to the Human Values, that this year his celebrates 9ª edition, to the Real Spanish Academy. With this award, the communications group wants to recognize in this institution the values of the Spanish language in the year in which 4º Centennial of the Quijote is celebrated, its work in the relation with the Academies of the other hispanohablantes countries and the elaboration of new instruments for the fortification of the language, like the Dictionary of the Student and the Dictionary Panhispánico de Dudas. The prize has received it today, of hands King Don Juan Carlos, the director of the Real Spanish Academy, Víctor Garci'a de la Concha.

Forthwith that commemorates the centenary of the birth of the biochemist luarqués, there will inform three scientists who have received the prize Nobel prize: Arthur Kornberg (the one who shared the Nobel prize with Ochoa in 1959), Marshall W. Nirenberg (distinguished in 1968) and Tim Hunt (2001).

The director of the Royal Spanish Academy of the Language (RAE), Víctor García de la Concha, has gathered from hands of the king don Juan Carlos the Prize Vocento to the " Human Values ", which it has been granted to the Royal Spanish Academy. The group of communication wants to recognize in this institution the values of the Spanish language in the year in which are celebrated 4 º Centenary of The Cuisse, his labor in the relation with the Academies of other Spanish-speaking countries and the elaboration of the Dictionary of the Student and the Dictionary Panhispánico of Doubts.
