Perhaps what I like the most about Queen Sofia is that she seems really approachable and she doesn't spend all the time behind the walls of her palace, but instead she is interested in the reality of the world, as dramatic or dreadful it may be, and she goes there to comfort the suffering people.
As a Queen, She could create her own secluded world, where everthing is beautiful and luxurious, but we know that it is not the reality of the world. She is very down to Earth and actually tries to do something in order to make people's life easier, even if her contribution is little, She does her best effort to make a difference in the world.
I hope that Her trip to Central America brings some relief and happiness to our brothers and sisters in those devastated areas.
