Madrid, on September 13 (EFE) .-Don Juan Carlos accompanied by Mrs Sofía, will travel today to New York at the head of the Spanish delegation that will be present at this historical world appointment, and in that there appear the prime minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, and the Secretary of State, Miguel Angel Moratinos.

In the evening they will be present at a reception that the president Bush will offer to all the delegations, and later at a dinner that the president of Mexico, Vicente Fox, has organized with the heads of state and of Government of the Group of Friends for the reform of the United Nations, to which Spain belongs. The King will speak tomorrow before the Assembly of the Millenium of the UNO, the biggest concentration of tall chiefs never dresses till now and that it will assemble in New York to next to two hundred heads of state or of Government of the whole world.

The Kings came this evening to New York to be present at the World Summit with the one that initiates United Nations today its sixtieth General Assembly.
The plane of the Air Spanish Force in which the Kings flew from Madrid John Fitzgerald Kennedy of New York landed in the airport at 15:35 (19:35 GMT).
There, they were hoped by the prime minister, Jose Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, and the minister of Foreign Affairs, Michael Angel Moratinos, that they came to the same airport a few minutes before.

BARCELONA, Spain: The lights system of the new Agbar (Aguas de Barcelona) Tower is tested, 13 September 2005 before the building's inauguration by Spanish King Juan Carlos on Friday in Barcelona.

Like Gaudi before him, French architect Jean Nouvel derived the form from the obtruded rock formations in the mountains of Montserrat, an hour north-west of Barcelona.

However, he compares the organic shape to 'a geyser at a constant pressure'. The 35-storey, reinforced-concrete structure has a multicoloured facade that recreates the prismatic effects of a film of water. The cladding is made up of aluminium panels in 25 colours behind glass louvres.

The president of the Government, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, and Kings Juan Carlos and Sofía traveled yesterday to New York to attend the Assembly of the Millenium of the United Nations. The Kings and the head of the Executive attended the reception that offered the EE president. UU. like Chief of State of the country host.

Don Juan Carlos will be the member of the Spanish delegation in charge to tomorrow read the speech before the present Chiefs of State in the Plenary one of Assembly of the Millenium. Before Jose will take part Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, in twenty seventh place, a separated act within the framework of the Meeting of High Level on financing to the development. The head of the Executive could take advantage of his Vista to the UN to maintain bilateral encounter with other world-wide leaders, indicated sources of the Spanish mission.

Thursday, Zapatero will center his activity in promoting his project of Alliance of Civilizations.
