The Queen left for Singapore today. I'm still waiting for more details from the press. She's heading the Spanish delegation and will talk to the IOC members.
In the picture: Her Majesty talks to the press at the airport before her flight departs for Singapore.

From El Semanal Digital:
S.M. the King came to visit a catamarán specially enabled for use by disabled persons. Don Juan Carlos demonstrated his worry for the above mentioned group and his their problems.
The King Don Juan Carlos realized the visit to the catamarán " Lo Spirito I gave Stella ", in the port of Valencia, by request of the Coordinating Conference of Disabled Physicists of the Valencian Community (COCEMFE-CV).
S. M. was got in the ship by the boss of the same one, Andrea Stella, and by the president of COCEMFE-CV, Carlos Laguna, that they accompanied him throughout the time that he remained on board. Stella, paraplegic after having received two shots, did not want to resign his interest to the sea and took charge designing the qualifications of his ship for the chair of wheels.
At the end of the meeting, Don Juan Carlos received like I give a reply of the training ship "Juan Sebastián Elcano" a plate of gratefulness.

Hey guys
I have a question for you. (Sorry if this has been discussed before). But when the family are on their summer holidays, you see them out and about in Palma, doing regular activities such as shopping etc. What i want to know is if you ever see them out in Madrid doing the same? I mean they can't possibly spend all of their time at home, can they?
Thanks in advance
Sofia

Good question, Sofia! We could see a few days ago CP Letizia doing some shoppings with her mum and sister Telma, in quite casual clothes. It was this book fairy in Madrit, if I'm not wrong.

Sofia ..., it is true that the Royal Family in Palma goes out more, they go out at some time of buys, or to visit a museum or to have dinner, but I believe that they do it to places that more or less the safety services already have controlled after many years.
In Madrid, it is more difficult. It is a very big city, is very strange to see the Reyes or the Princes of buys (equal one or two times a year). And if it is known that for example the Princes go out occasionally to the cinema or to having dinner.
But I believe that they are things more exceptional than habitual. Also they occur to coming to houses or friends' estates.
The certain thing, it is that unfortunately, the Spanish Royal Family, especially the Kings or the Princes do not have a lot of freedom of movements. All their movements are followed by a safety service, and in each of their exits they are accompanied of their escorts, though one does not see them.
With E.T.A.'s problem they do not still have another remedy that to live like that. Also many politicians live like that, judges, businessmen, some teachers, journalists ... etc... The persons who occupy important positions in Spain know that they must live with it.
Because of it the Letizia's first speech was for my very important, because exactly it was for the persons who go 25 years fighting in order that has not more died, they are the persons who protect the life of the citizens but also the life of the one that now is her family.
I feel it for the speech, but sometimes it is necessary to understand the situations through that a concrete country lives, to be able to explain like Royal Families or politicians live.

Thanks for your quick replies Lachicamadrilena and Lula.:)
It's a shame that all dignitaries in Spain have to live with, in some cases, such caution. But i suppose that its the same everywhere.

I believe that it is a bit different. The persons who occupy high charges normally take protection, because always there are delinquents and things can happen. But there are no the same dangers in a few countries that in others, there are countries where for certain situations of the same ones they do that this threat is much more real and probable.
I remember when it does a couple of years a delinquent killed a Swedish Minister, and I found out that there the ministers were not taking protection, in Spain it would be unthinkable.
