Queen Sofia is always so elegant and classy, and as it shows in those pictures she has aged beautifully.
It just crossed my mind, with the success of the movie The Queen, if any Spanish filmaker would make one movie or miniseries based on Queen Sofia and her life growing up in Greece, living in Franco's Spain and her life as Queen Consort?

I think Sofia's life story is certainly deserving of a film (same with Juan Carlos's, who is a very fascinating character in world affairs). Maybe someday there will be a good well-written well-acted movie about the two of them and all the ups and downs they have experienced. I also have to say Sofia is so totally chic and elegant, not to mention tireless. Seems she is constantly working on behalf of Spain.

Thanks for the all the photos. Queen Sofia looks exstatic at the inauguration of the Alhzeimer's Center, which is no surprise at it is cause very dear to her.

The Kings of Spain will attend a concert in tribute to the Victims of terrorism
Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will preside tomorrow on Saturday the IInd edition of the Concert “In Memoriam-Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism”, the eve of the third anniversary of the attacks in Madrid. The concert will be offered by the Russian State Symphony orchestra, conducted by Inma Shara and pieces of Ponchielli, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky will be interpreted. The concert will begin at 19:30 in the National Audience. Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will also attend on the Sunday's morning the inauguration of the monument in memory of the victims of the attack of the 11th of March, 2004.
