King Don Juan Carlos will tomorrow inaugurate in the House of the Cord of the of Burgos capital the exhibition “the Beauty and Madness. Felipe I the Beautiful one, king of Castile, Duke of Burgundy”, organized by the Foundation Box of Towns and comisariada by the Foundation Carlos de Amberes.

The president of Kazakhstan and the King seem to get along very well. He attendend the wedding of Felipe and Letizia and has been to Spain several times.

The Kings inaugurate the Assembly IV of the Institute San Telmo

The Kings of Spain will inaugurate on Friday, the 6th of October the Assembly IV of the Members' Group of the International Institute San Telmo. The event, which will develop throughout three days, will assemble to more than 5.000 former pupils of the business school. The meeting, which has five-year periodicity and which coincides with 25 anniversary of the Foundation of the institute, will be celebrated in the Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses of Seville (Fibes).

With the motto Better companies, better society, the assembly will centre on three props on which San Telmo has based the growth of the Institute. On the one hand, the creation of wealth and the social development; for other one, the professional and personal challenges of the managerial high place; and, finally, the world challenges of the companies agroalimentarias (one of the principal lines of investigation of the school).

The Kings will preside over next the 17 of October in Valladolid the concert of anniversary of the newspaper “the North of Castile”, that celebrates with the musical encounter the 150 years like newspaper, since it was created in 1856. In the concert, the Symphony orchestra of Castile and Leon, directed by its holder, Alexander Posada, and with the pianista Ingrid Fliter, will interpret works of Antonio Jose Martinez Palaces and Beethoven.
Before the concert, Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía will give to Miguel Delibes the Vocento prize to the Human Values, in the course of an act that traditionally takes place in Madrid, but that has been transferred east year to Valladolid to agree with the anniversary of the dean of Spanish newspapers. In addition, that day also their birthday celebrates the writer, since it was born in Valladolid the 17 of October of 1920.

The Foundation ' Supports a Tree ' it has the privilege of possessingthe presence of Her Majesty the Queen Dona Sofía as chairwoman of Honor. With this action the Royal family proves to be near to any labor of humanitarian, environmental help and of project development in altars of the promotion of the culture, the sport, the rural development or the cooperation with organizations without spirit of profit.

Her Majesty The Queen, beside taking part in institutional acts, dedicates great part of her time to the social and welfare activities. She is an executive chairwoman of the Foundation Queen Sofia and chairwoman of Honor of the Royal Patronage on Disability, and of the Foundation of Help against the Drug addiction, between others. Dona Sofía also takes part in several international projects on the development of the rural woman and the improvement of life of the most disadvantaged social caps.

As sample of her commitment, the Foundation Queen Sofia, at which Her Majesty presides The Queen, has decided to collaborate with the Foundation supporting a whole of 100 trees, maximum number of trees to that collaborators can accede the entities.

The Foundation ' Supports a Tree ' it has the aim to recover environmental and socially it departs from the zone devastated by the fire happened in Guadalajara in July, 2005. For it, the this Foundation obtaining the persons' collaboration, entities and companies that link themselves to the project and to the trees that they are born in the zone, across the program of protection of the same ones. Hereby, the Foundation promises to dedicate to the trees an extraordinary care, favoring the creation of the natural only space that links the citizen with the nature and that is the reflex of the importance in our lives.
