The King received in hearing the president Maragall

Palma, 3 ago (EFE) .-The King received this morning in hearing, in his summer residence of Marivent's Palace in Palm, to the president of the Generalitat, Pasqual Maragall, which will leave the cargo after the autonomic elections that it has summoned for November 1. Maragall came to passed Marivent the midday and was assembled by the monarch approximately forty five minutes, they informed sources of the House of the King.

The hearing places in the habitual contacts that don Juan Carlos celebrates with authorities of the State, autonomic and other social representatives, and that do not appear in the official agenda of the monarch.

The Kings will travel to Paraguay in November, after the summit of Montevideo

The first vice-president of the Government, Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega, has announced to the president of Paraguay, Nicanor Duarte, that the Kings will visit the country next November 5, after the Latin-American summit that will be celebrated in Montevideo. The vice-president explained it in the press conference after meeting Duarte in Asuncion.

Also she has invited the president to visit Spain, a trip that will take place, predictably, next March.

The King receives in Marivent the president of Canaries Adam Martin

On Monday, the 07th I shrivel, 2006 PALMA. - The King Juan Carlos has received in hearing, in his summer residence of Marivent's Palace in Palm, to the Canary prime minister, Adam Martin, as has reported a speaker of the House of the King.

The King spoke today for telephone with the president of Galicia, Emilio Perez Touriño, on the forest fires that from the last weekend they concern this autonomous community, which they have caused the death to three persons and which approximately 5.000 hectares have burned already, at least.

Don Juan Carlos, as reported a speaker of the House of the King, called by telephone from his office of Marivent's Palace, in Palm, the Galician presidentes to know details of the evolution of the fires and of the number of hectares that have burned up to the moment.

It is a question of the second occasion in which the Monarch speaks this week with Perez Touriño, after last Monday he was calling the Galician president and the Catalan, Pasqual Maragall, to be informed about the fires that they were concerning their communities.

King will deliver Medals Fields of the International Congreso of Mathematicians

The King Juan Carlos will deliver next Tuesday the Medals Fields, considered the ' prizes Nobel prize of the Mathematics ', in the opening of the Congress XXV International Mathematicians' (ICM 2006), that will be celebrated in Spain by the first time.

As reported today sources of the House of the King, don Juan Carlos will be present at 11.00 hours at the inauguration of the Mathematicians' International Congress (ICM 2006) and at the later delivery of the Medals Fields at the most out-standing mathematical finds realized by scientists of less than 40 years.

Also he will be present in the delivery of the prizes Nevanlinna and Gauss of mathematics, which emphasize the most relevant mathematical works related to the society of the information and the technologies of the daily life, respectively.

The Congress, which will be celebrated from August 22 to August 30, will assemble in Madrid approximately 5.000 experts of the whole world, who will take part in more than 20 plenary conferences; 169 conferences distributed in 20 scientific sections; 8 plenary meetings, which will include all the areas of the mathematics, and 60 conferences satellite, organized parallel in Spanish cities.

(EFE) .-The King Juan Carlos presided today at the delivery of the prizes of the Trophy XXII Admiral Count of Barcelona of ships of epoch, who was celebrated this evening in the Palace of The Almudaina of Palm.
At the act also they were present the minister of Promotion, Magdalena Alvarez, the presidents of the Govern of the Balearic Islands and the Consell of Majorca, Jaume Matas and Maria Antonia Munar, respectively, and the mayor of Palm, Catalina Cirer.

Likewise, they came the delegate of the Government in Balearics, Ramon Socías, the secretary general of the PSIB-PSOE, Francesc Antich, and the president of the organizing institution of the trophy, the Foundation Roman Spain of Ships of Epoch, Emilio Espinosa.

The edition XXII of the Trophy Admiral Count of Barcelona concluded with the delivery of prizes the sports winners and the absolute victor of a competition in which not only puntúan the times of the ditch but also the conservation of the hull is born in mind, the interiors, the cover and the design in general.

The king don Juan Carlos presided in the Palau de l'Almudaina at a ceremony in which more than thirty awards were distributed and where the Isla Ebusitana obtained a special mention for being the most ancient ship in competition, 150 years it was fulfilling the yacht. Besides, the Yatch Club Monaco wanted to reward to one of the crafts that symbolizes the promotion of the preservation, restoration and maintenance. The Mercury was the awardwinner.

King Juan Carlos visits prince Salman after his arrival Marbella

The King visited yesterday the prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia after his arrival to the Palace El Rocío of the of Malaga locality of Marbella, as informed today Efe a speaker of the Royal Spanish House.
Don Juan Carlos interrupted his vacations in Palma to support a meeting ' of private character ' with the prince Salman, governor of Riyadh.

The brother of the deceased King Fahd was present in representation of the royal Saudi family at the link of the Prince Felipe and Letizia Ortiz in 2004 and coincided last April with the Kings with their official visit to Saudi Arabia.

Sources close to the Palace El Rocío said to Efe that the prince Salman possesses a retinue of more than one hundred of persons, and that in the next days it hopes that there travels to the Costa del Sol his nephew, the prince Abdulaziz Bin Fahd.

During his stay, which might extend until middle of September, it is foreseen that the prince Abdulaziz inaugurates the mosque of Malaga, which first stone was placed in 1997.

The King Fahd, deceased last summer, was several seasons in Marbella and received in the Palace Nahda (El Rocio) to international agents chief executive, between them the King Juan Carlos.

The King of Spain called today by telephone from his office of Marivent's Palace, in Majorca, the king Mohamed VI of Morocco, to congratulate him for his 43 birthdays.

As informed EFE sources of the House of the King, don Juan Carlos has supported a telephonic conversation with Mohamed the VIth, to whom he has transmitted his congratulations in the day of his birthday.

Last July 24, the King travelled to Casablanca, where he had lunch privately with Mohamed the VIth, to initiative of the monarch alauí, to stimulate the satisfactory relations between both countries.
