Those girls are without a doubt the most beautiful girls in the world. It's so great to see the whole family doing "ordinary" stuff like Felipe helping his daughter ride the bike and stuff instead of just posing for pictures.

I'm so glad they decided to release these kind of pictures. The spontaneous pics are always so much more moving than posed pics.

I can't wait to see her grow up into a stunning queen. Any word on whether Spain will change the royal heir rule so the Infanta Leonor won't get bumped if the Prince and Princess of Asturias have a son?

I haven't heard of anything. IICR, I think the issue of changing the succession laws is a bit tricky since it can also call into challenging the role of the monarchy itself in a possible referendum. Anyone who knows more can perhaps help us out here.

The article talks about the great physical resemblance between the Infanta Leonor and Queen Sofia.
There are not too many pictures of the Queen Sofia when she was a little girl, but the resemblance between the two ladies is clear: blond hair, curly hair, blue eyes...

I was in Madrid last month studying Spanish and in a class the talk was about monarchy. Then I asked to my teacher if the law about the succession will change. She said it probaby won't happen soon since change the constitucion is very difficult and if a baby boy will born, he would be the heir, since the law didn't change until now.

I hope that they only have little girls. Infanta Leonor should be the next Queen of Spain.
You can really see the resemblance between Leo and Grandma. Leo has to be the prettiest little girl I have ever seen.

Thanks to everyone who answered my question! I had wondered if the law would be retroactive to include the Infanta Leonor, but I suppose that's out of the question.

Both Leonor and Sofia's wikipedia pages are incorrect.
Their names are listed as Leonor de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Ortiz and Sofía de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Ortiz. However, their surnames aren't de Borbón y Ortiz. It's just de Borbón Ortiz.
For a source, all you have to go is goto Queen Sophia's official page.
Casa de Su Majestad el Rey de España
There you can see that their names are listed as Leonor and Sofía de Borbón Ortiz. No "y" in between. Anyone with an account can go in and edit the pages at Wikipedia, so someone should do that.
Here are the links to the pages
Infanta Leonor of Spain - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Infanta SofÃ*a of Spain - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
