Lula was right, Elena does look like the Borbon family and not all of them are photogenic. I'm not too bothered by the hair but I wish she would do something with the eyebrows. (Just call me Carson Kressley, or more accurately Kyan.)
She didn't look very happy at this wedding IMO. In some pictures she seemed wistful.

Yes, it is.

Probably, the whole ensemble is by Lacroix as well, since Elena often chooses him to wedding outfits...

I think Elena dresses beautifully but I wish she would do something with her hair particularly when she is attending special functions. I would love to send both her and Princess Anne in for beauty makeovers.
Is it something to do with horseriding that both women keep their long hair?
I have nothing against long hair but in this day and age there are plenty of styles for women with long hair. My mother always says (when I tie my hair up) what is the point in having long hair if you always tie it up or back.
Sorry just my opinion. No offense intended to anyone.

She seems very devoted to her country and to the spanish people. I was surprised to see how «touchy» she was with the residents at the center Helps. Those pictures don't fit wth the image of coldness that I had of Elena.

Everything opposite. By what it is in the habit of saying here in Spain, Elena belongs more similar to her father, nicer and affectionate than the Queen (that every time is nicer) or the Infanta Cristina. I believe that sometimes it gives another impression because on not having been pretty of face her gestures are a bit strange, in addition she lives more chased and criticized by the press that her sister Cristina, since one lives in Madrid where the majority of the press is and other one in much calmer Barcelona.
