I'm curious with the caption.. is this only a memorial service? why does it keep saying 'funeral'? i read that too on the london features' site..

From Hola:

The trip to Baqueira is the perfect end of the Christmas holidays that the Dukes of Lugo have spent between Soria and Madrid. Doña Elena and Don Jaime visited the Marichalar family in Soria, where they attended the traditional mass in memory of the patriarch, the Count of Ripalda.
Back to Madrid, we could see the Infanta teaching Victoria Federica to slide on the ice. Laughter was the protagonist of these games shared between mother and daughter, while Don Jaime did not lose a detail, while watching them from the barrier.

Wow, Elena is the Queen of Ice Sports: snowboarding, ski and ice skating, awesome!!!
I would like to have a mom as cool as her, next thing you know she'll be at the X-Games:D

you fold it in half and then put it around your neck and then pull the loose ends through the loop that formed on one side when you folded it. I dont know how else to explain it, I hope that helps. It looks very nice and I find it keeps me warmer than when I tie it any other way.

The Infants live each one in their own houses, one in Madrid and another one in Barcelona.
The Princes live in a house of National Patrimony within the enclosure of the Zarzuela to 1 kilometer of the Palace. The Palace of the Zarzuela was a small pavilion of hunting, and Franco installed the Princes there, was a relatively simple place. When the Princes became Kings, they decided not to change of residence. The Palace is surrounded by nature, in a wonderful place; there they could have more privacy and the children had more freedom. But the Zarzuela, although extended it is not excessively great... I believe that it is looked more like a mansion that to a great palace.

It is nice to see pics of Felipe. I just have a question to someone who lives in Madrid, isn't it cold there? it is quite amazing to see him with pants that short.

It is the uniform of the college. There are colleges that support the uniform with shorts and high socks ... before one was dressing the children this way. Though it seems to me to be strange that they do not have long trousers for the winter.

Yes, it is really strange, at least for me, I dont like cold weather.

In Spain people say that Infanta Elena is bordeline, is that true?

In Spain, how your you say, people do not say anything of that. These failing to fulfill the rules of this forum when creating this type of rumors, on subjects that are very serious. Infant Elena is a wonderful woman, considered by many like a good natured and likeable woman. Please, let create stupid rumors.

I have no idea where you got that idea from. I've seen and listened Infanta Doña Elena for several years and I never noticed anything.
But these kind of not-so-kind coments tend to appear from time to time regarding several members of Spanish Royal Family.

One thing I know from her - she has a heart of a world's size. When her husband, Don Jaime de Marichalar had the stroke, some people were speculating that he was unfaithful to her and that they were expecting I don't know what to fill for divorce. Anyway, when Don Jaime had the stroke she pulled all her strength and decided to recover her husband, although the doctor's prognosis were that he would be severely damaged from it. She spend all her time besides him, talking to him (although the doctors said he wouldn't listen), she decorated his room with colour ballons and huge family portraits from the happy times they spent together as fiancés, newlywed couple, with theirs sons and their families always praying and expecting that his mental skills would be incentivated to start working as soon as he open his eyes. Later doctors assumed that she was a very important part of her husband's recovery. All that initiatives she took from books she read about her husband desease, as soon as he had the stroke.

If this is from a woman with mental problems...

Regards,
mtbcm :)

I will just repeat what has been exhaustely said over and over again. Please state a credible source for affirming that someone is borderline, gay or something the like. "I heard" or "It's been said" aren't considered reliable sources of information.

The discussion of Infanta Elena's mental health ceases here and now, unless someone provides a doctor's report proving this condition.

thank you.
