Forgive me if this has been covered in another thread but there seems to be gossip floating around about Elena's marriage being unhappy. Does anyone know anything about this?

Like every year, after spending the Christmas Eve with the Kings, Infanta Elena and her family went to Soria, to meet the Marichalars and to attend the mass that always celebrates day 26 by the soul of her father-in-law. At this particular moment, the wind that whips the North part of Spain hits completely in Soria. The snow was intense and that seemed to amuse her eldest son, Froilán.

I don't know when the pic was taken but I saw on another board that this was used for their Christmas card.

Actually ot is a spanish 48, which is a 46 for other countries...
But still it is really spectacular!!!

An inopportune cough made spend a bad moment yesterday to the infanta Elena during an official act in the Royal Palace. While she was greeting the ambassadors together with the Kings, the princes of Asturias, the dukes of Palm and her husband, Jaime de Marichalar, the infanta had to move herself away from the place in where she was until the attack of cough passed. She maybe "caught" this bad cough in Saint Moritz's ski resort.
The dukes of Lugo returned yesterday at their official activities after the Christmas holidays. Elena and her husband spent last days of 2004 in the most exclusive tracks of the Alps.
In the Swiss snow they met the doctor Elena Ochoa and her husband, the British architect Norman Foster.

Strokes can affect personality seriously, particularly if it affected his left side physically which would be the right side of his brain where emotions are controlled. I knew the kindest guy in the world who had a stroke on the right side of his brain--he turned into a total curmudgeon who tried to hit his wife. Complete turnaround in behavior. My father's stroke was on the left side of the brain and his personality was not affected at all.

Jaime had a stroke in end of 2001, it was public. Was realy serious. But, the rumours about problems came before that. What happen is since then, there are much more talk about problems in their wedding. Thr strange way that they lived in NY, some strange attitudes from Jaime and the fact that they live almost separeted lifes since they moved back to Madrid helped alot to the talk.
