Yesterday, June 3, Elena visited the Oswaldo Guayasamín painting gallery with Pablo Guayasamin, Oswaldo's son, at the Oswaldo Guayasamín foundation in Quito and she visited the Alliance Foundation for the development of the Education and Culture (ALDEC).

Yesterday, June 4, Infanta Elena attended the opening of the "First World Meeting of inclusive education" at the Eugenio Espejo Convention Center in Quito, as well as a cocktail reception for the 30th anniversary of Mapfre Atlas (pic 3).

On her fourth day in Ecuador, June 5, Infanta Elena attended a signing of a collaboration agreement to teach the children between 5 and 12 years to identify fire risks. Fire prevention is one of the projects promoted by the Mapfre Foundation.

The Infanta Elena was today in Portugal to visit Manuel Malta da Costa, the Olympic athlete Portuguese which was his professor of horseback riding for many years, and who is admitted to the IPO of Lisbon.

Manuel Malta da Costa died this Monday. The funeral will be tomorrow, Wednesday. I predict Elena will be here.

There will be a mass at 11am at Igreja Santo António do Estoril and then the body will be taken to Montemor-o-Novo where the funeral mass will be held at 3pm at the chapel of the Hospital da Misericórdia before being taken to the local cemetery.
