Urdangarín leaves the Nóos Institute
After the controversy invoice Balearic and to the Consell the private organization received 3.6 million by three forums on economic impact of the sport the husband of Infant Cristina, Iñaki Urdangarín, has resigned to the presidency of the Nóos Institute of Strategic Studies of Sponsorship in Patronage, an organization deprived with seat in Barcelona and that in the last years has invoiced to public institutions to organize minicongresses of reflection on the social incidence, enterprise and economic of the phenomenon of the great sport events.
The march of the Duke of Palm takes place after the controversial surroundings to two editions of the Valencia Summit jumped to the arena (in 2004 and 2005), by which the Nóos Institute received of the Generalitat and the City council of Valencia 2.4 million euros. That invoicing, by consisting of forums several conferences during four days, motivated a battery of questions of autonomic deputy socialist Jeannette Segarra, who asked for in Valencian Cortes the complete relation of expenses by these events. Segarra described exactly like "shameful" that in each one of the Summits was spent 1.2 million, the same amount that the Generalitat has destined all the sport federations.

In it Peñafiel has had little that to see. Really the problem has been more serious than a rumor invented by corsets.
The problem was of political type raised by a political party and that was concerning the public money of the citizens. It was the most serious of the matter that the topic was related to public funds.
Though neither clear, to the topic there helped the information about the new housing of the Dukes of Palm, a housing with a lot of polemic since anybody deals since can pay it. Really Urdangarín's work and sun slightly dark, nobody knows to that he devotes himself really .... whereas the whole world knows that they do Marichalar, or the Infantas Elenas and Cristina the life to be gained.

believe that in iñaki and Cristina we have a good example of what should be a family that by belonging to the CR they have a life publishes.
Urdangarin is stupendous. I understand that perhaps in the business in which has been put has been able to be seen favored by being who is, but really, the one that exercise a public office seems me well.
If did not work him would put green; if works and charges for its work, also.

I wonder if I could have some clarification on this subject as I don't think I've understood the various translations.
Why was Inaki forced to resign from this position exactly? Was it because some people thought that he received favourtism for being the King's son in law? Or because he used used his role as the King's son in law to get the position? In the end it had nothing to do with his actual abilities to do the job but merely because of his ties to the royal family right?
And this was an actual job and not just a committee or organization that Inaki chose to participate in out of personal interest right? If it was a paying job, then what does Inaki do now to help support his family financially?
And what does the organization have to say about Inaki's resignation?

This has to do with a long controversy evolving the management of public income with sport events.
A couple of months ago, the Balearic Socialists have denounced the fact that the Balearic Government was spending 1.2 million euros financing a Fund of Tourism and Sport in Mallorca that was managed by this Noos Institute and nobody understands very well what was this money for.
Just to have an idea, please read this article:
http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums/385957-post86.html
The problem here is that the institute works with public money, fact that, although legitimate, jeopardizes the image of the royal family, as Irdanganrín is the son-in-law of the king.

Homage to Miguel Hernández with the name of the public library
The City Hall of Hillock Villalba yields today homage in Madrid al poet Miguel Hernández (1910-1942). The mayor has determined to dedicate al oriolano the name of the public library that is inaugurated at 19.00 o'clock. The infanta Mrs Cristina and the president of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, have been guests.
