I wonder if I could have some clarification on this subject as I don't think I've understood the various translations.
This has to do with a long controversy evolving the management of public income with sport events.

A couple of months ago, the Balearic Socialists have denounced the fact that the Balearic Government was spending 1.2 million euros financing a Fund of Tourism and Sport in Mallorca that was managed by this Noos Institute and nobody understands very well what was this money for.

Just to have an idea, please read this article:

The problem here is that the institute works with public money, fact that, although legitimate, jeopardizes the image of the royal family, as Irdanganrín is the son-in-law of the king.

This is a very busy couple, probably even more than her sister and Marichalar. My thoughts are that they are very well accepted for most of the people and the royal house use that popularity to give them more and more official activities. I hope to see Letizia doing solo duties like Cristina is doing nowdays.

Well Cristina is royal by blood and have been doing acts for more or less than 20 years so...

Yes you are totally right, probably in Spain, the royal family takes this kind of things at a lower pace than other royal houses. Letizia will have time for evolving and doing her own things when they think it is better not just for her but also for the royal house. My wish is just that a wish as I think she can do lots of good things by her own. Back on topic :)
