This morning, June 29, Queen Margrethe has attended the anniversary parade of the Royal Guard and handed over
the Queen's Watch. This evening she was present at the Royal Life Guards anniversary celebration in Copenhagen.

Last week Prince Henrik has paid a visit to the animal shelter Tingskoven in Tranbjerg.

On June 29 Queen Margrethe has received the newly appointed Prime Lieutenants of the Air Force and Army at Amalienborg.

Queen Margrethe has visited the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde today, July 8, to mark the 50th anniversary of the excavation of the five Viking ships from Roskilde Fjord. She viewed the anniversary exhibition "Heart Blood - 50 years with Viking ships" and was on board of a viking ship.

On July 7, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik attended the premiere of "The Tinder-Box"
by H. C. Andersen at the Pantomime theatre in Tivoli.

Prince Henrik attended the Copenhagen Jazz Festival on July 8, 2012. He was pictured at his boat at Copenhagen Harbour
and obviously felt very comfortable - not sure if the pics were taken before or after the attended concerts

Yesterday, July 13, Prince Henrik attended the Danish Bridge Festival 2012 at the Vingsted Congress Center, Bredsten
- and was much better dressed

Yesterday, August 21, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik hosted the traditional summer concert with the Royal Life Guards band at the Château de Cayx in France.

The proceeds of the evening will support the organisation Prince Henrik's sister, Sister Catherine has created, it helps poor African children and young people in Burkino Faso.

Queen Margrethe has opened the exhibition "A queen and her family" at the Trapholt museum in Kolding today, August 31, 2012.

The exhibition shows portraits of the Queen and her family made by Danish and international artists over the last 40 years, many of them are part of the family's private collection at Amalienborg Palace, Fredensborg and Schackenborg Castle.

Queen Margrethe has attended the inauguration of a new banner at the Skive Barracks in Skive yesterday, September 1,
two units have been merged so a new banner was created.
