Thank you for the info Maura and Muhler. I guess horses are a topic that Princess Benedikte and Prss Mary have in common. I saw an old pic of Queen Ingrid standing next to a young Qu Elisabeth with Prss Margaret sitting on a horse; possibly at Fredensborg. Perhaps they were visiting Fredensborg with a view to buying a horse. Anyway it made me think that I had never seen Qu Margrethe near horses.

Yesterday, May 25, Queen Margrethe visited the romantic garden
at the Sanderum farm on the island Fyn. The weather wasn't that
perfect, but according to the article the atmosphere was great
nevertheless. Susanne and Erik Vind, the current owners have
made it their life's project to restore the over 200 years old and
15-acre landscaped gardens.

Prince Henrik has celebrated the 20th anniversary as a member of
the Tivoli Club this weekend.
"I am very fond of female company. Today I am so lucky to have
Kirsten Siggaard at the table, and opposite sits Lise Nørgaard. She
is in her 90s, but I have nothing against women around 25" Prince
Henrik joked. In honour of the occasion he also read some of his
poems, but in French, so he wasn't sure if everybody understood
it all..

Prince Henrik presented his new collection of poems "Freewheel / Roue
Libre", at the Royal Yacht club in Copenhagen on June 16, 2010. The
collection of poems is illustrated by Danish Queen Margrethe and Maja-
Lisa Engelhardt.
Nice to see Prince Henrik so proud with his own special project.

Yesterday evening, June 16, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik attended
the Sonning Music Prize at the Concert Hall at the Tivoli in Copenhagen.
The Italian soprano Cecilia Bartoli was awarded the music prize. After
the festivities in the concert hall, a reception was held at the Divan
restaurant.

Thank you, Dazzling
Bakken is an amusement park. Originally intended for ordinary people, not least the working class, as it was way more affordable than Tivoli. (And still is)!
The things you could do there were also more for the "common people" than Tivoli. That included the famous and beforehand infamous "Bakkesangerinder" I.e. women of the town, who sang songs that were perhaps a little bit lewd, to put it mildly! And should anyone among the audience shout less than flattering comments, the singers were certainly able to answer back with a choice of words that would make any sailor blush!
PH is a frequent visitor at Bakken and not least the singers, who are now of course professional. The mood is maintained and you can pay tips by puting the money in the garter of the singers, who are naturally dressed up as tarts. There are a number of pics of PH doing just that.

I would not seem to be rude but I think that Prince Henrik is not aging well.
I do not mean about physical appearance.
To me these horrible photos are " impardonnables"for a Consort Prince.

Well, then I will advise you not to look at more photos from his visit to Bakken.
Here is an article from the tabloid Ekstra Bladet: Ekstra Bladet - Partyprinsen i hopla
And a gallery: Ekstra Bladet - Partyprinsen på Bakken
Prince Henrik is very active with some of the singers on stage and clearly having a great time. - And he knows perfectly well there are press and cameras around.
I find it wonderfully life-affirming that a man at his age is simply having fun. And he is not groping anyone and he has been invited on stage and this is after all a place that used to be of "ill-repute".

Dear Muhler,
It was just my humble opinion.
However, upon browsing other royal boards, I find that I was not the only one ( mostly spanish, sud or north american or british people)to consider that it is not appropriate for a "Prince Consort".
Of course he is not "my" Prince but " Yours".

So I noticed!
Perhaps a cultural difference?
Anýway, the royal board would be pretty boring if we were all in agreement...

I do not think he really cares what is considered appropriate. You can tell he loves life and plans to enjoy each minute he is given. If his health holds out I can see him still doing the same thing at ninety. lol I know one thing for sure he is a great grandfather. He is so good to do things with the children.
