Prince Henrik has a new cookbook. He presented it at Fredensborg Slot on 4th November, 2005.
I cannot read danish, perhaps somebody can translate this from polfoto :

BT also has an article on Prince Henrik's new cookbook :

Geez. If you don't pay attention, you might swear that's Joachim and Frederik!!!

Det er prinsgemalens anden bogudgivelse i år - for nylig udkom hans kogebog "Til glæde for ganen". Det hele foregik på Fredensborg Slot.

Can anyone help with the translation?

Not a litteral translation, but this is what it's about: on Wednesday, Queen Margrethe handed over a watch to one of the guards during a parade at the Life Guards’ casern in Copenhagen. This is an annual tradition where all the guards and their superiors vote for the one who they feel is the best comrade and soldier in the company, and the chosen one always gets to recive a watch.

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik Current Events 2: January 2006 - December 2006

The pictures from the Christmas speech are beautiful! QMII looks more and more wonderful as she gets older - much like a stately monarch should I think. The color is very flattering on her, and the necklace is the perfect touch.

Thanks for the pictures Adry.

When I visited Seattle, Washington, USA, last week, I saw an IMAX movie :"The Vikings: Journey to New Worlds". It is a documentary on Viking Explorations and settlements and the influence the Vikings have had on western culture. The Bayeux Tapestry was shown. Heres's a link to a description of the documentary.

I read in todays newspaper (a dutch one) that arabic protesters are now even demanding the Queen of Denmark to apologise for the cartoons about Mohammed, published in a danish newspaper. Is this true? Of course she never will (quite rightly so), but it is disturbing to see her dragged into this discussion (though the protests against Denmark were already quite upsetting). Anyway, good luck to her and to Denmark!

Yes it is tru that they are demanting to get an apologise from Queen Margrethe. I am not going to write what i feel about this problem for my country becaus then i know i am going to be banned from this forum.
I will only say this: The must be very ignorant when they demand that they want an apologise from the king of Denmark....We don´t have a king but a queen and we like her very much.Queen Margrethe has been queen of Denmark since 1972.

The Danish queen is a highly intelligent person. I am sure she will find a solution which is tactful but shows her commitment to stand by the Danish people and their rights, especially the right to free speech. Good luck to her, though!
