I find her interesting because she changes hair styles and clothes colors and coordinates boldly. Unlike some sport a particular hair style for a century (OK, exaggeration, but you get my point). Look at queen elizabeth, sophia, silvia, and younger ones like elena, even maxima. Hair seems to be a sticking point that's just so inflexible, they look always the same. Boring.
by the way, princess martha of norway is also interesting because of creative with alot of things including hair.

You do have a point Lori.
That's one thing I like about Princess Alexandra because she loves change. Change in a sense that for the better and not for the worst.
I am just concerned sometimes with her looks especially her hair because it is unkept. One example of this was when she was in Schackenborg Palace wearing the grey attire with her hair not looking good. I hope she would also tie it in a ponytail because she would look good on it.
It is also true regarding some royal ladies about their looks. I am really bored to look at them sporting the same hair do for more than 3 years already. They have very stylish clothes but that's the only thing new the rest are consistent.

Alexandra i Kina: Ekslusivt interview

It is quite a long article, and I really shouldn't be spending my time online right now. I think, that at least a week will pass, before I will be able to give it a try.

I agree that her eyes are cute and different from other princesses in European countires. No wonder why Felix has cute and lovely eyes. Her picture in China looks great...it looks like princess wants to say that " here...a country of my ancestors !"
I like her new hair cut.

if you could provide a link to the full blown version, I'd be happy to put it through the translator .... and then I'd even consider doing the fine-tuning. :)

It never struck me until now, but I realized that PAlexandra`s college name is never mentioned. Had she gone to college at all? Island school is high school.

Thanks, but I wonder why the names of her school in Tokyo and school in London not mentioned...
well, since she has a good work resume, the names of schools would not matter, I guess...

you do raise a good question though. What schools? Tokyo has bunch of schools including formal and informal schools, and if you go through a system, you could hardly graduate in a year or two. My guess is that she kind of went through for professonal training instead of getting a degree. This is in no way a dispute of her capabilities, folks, before you yell at me. But I am questioning the motive of listing a resume in such a vague sense that Denmark's court always does, for instance, Mary's.

Maybe Alexandra went to Tokyo just for a year-long exchange trip. Universities love exchange programs.

Thanxs for the pictures Chatleen. I like the shirt she wore in the second picture. And it seems like in privaye, she dresses younger than she does in public and not the way most people think a 40 year old would dress. It looks good on her, I think because she doesn't look 40.

Great pictures Chatleen :flower: Her style is very much trendy and fashionably different from what she looks like on official engagements. I think it's fantastic and great that she takes such excellent care of herself so that she looks absolutely fabulous at 40! Right on Princess Alexandra!!

Alexandra looks nice and her smile is indeed warm and radiant :flower: , but I still don't like the dress. It's very 80s Dynasty like ..and her hair clip looks like a red version of CP Mary's, maybe they bought a pack and shared them. :P

Article in BT, August 9th:
Quote:
|
Summary:
Now it says that 750 people had purchased tickets to the concert held at Schackenborg. Due to the heat, everyone was given a bottle of water and at hat, when they arrived
Søren Frederiksen, inspector with Scackenborg Castle, says that the concert was a huge success. Profit from the concert will benefit local cultural activities.

I sometimes thinks she looks older than 40 for public events but when she is in private she looks very young, sexy and stylish.

Joachim looks older than Alexandra does, although she's five years older than he is. Actually, I thought, at the beginning, that Joachim was older than Frederik!
