Curious indeed. But with today's dollar value that equates to roughly $173,000 per annum.

Norwegianne, AFAIK the Danish Prime Minister told the press in an interview that Joachim will be given ~900,000 DKK more after the wedding.

Here is a short clip of the couple on the balcony for Queen Maregrethe's birthday. Um, her hair specifically her new bangs, looks sloppy. Marie needs to stop flipping her hair every two seconds... such a bad habit  . Other than that she looked lovely.
