It is an indicator of someones low character when they can attack a childs looks. Everyone here knows to whom this is addressed.
I personally think the baby is beautiful (all are!). He has gorgeous eyes, and he looks like a really happy baby. Actually I think he looks inquisitive like others have noted.

In the interest of the thread everyone, why not lets try and move forward?:) Those who feel a need to project negative comments, especially about an infant child, are telling us more about themselves than they would no doubt wish to divulge.
Lets take the healthier approach and move forward :)
Kind regards,

I agree, Margrethe II. I think we all (including myself) have said out two cents worth, so if people have comments about the Prince's appearance that may be interpreted as being overtly negative (such as the use of 'ugly'), please refrain from posting them.

I think all the babies look cute. :) Still looking forward to den lille prinsen's christening.
I would have liked to see more recent pics of den lille prins. He must have grown quite a bit from these pics already.

I honestly can't see the point of comparing royal babies, as to who is the cutest! All babies are cute in their own individual way! And frankly, the cuteness doesn't mean a thing! The most important is that the little prince (and all the other little princes and princess' in the world) is healthy, well and content! Anything else is irrelevant, in my opinion.
And haven't people learnt that you should not pick on people who are smaller than you

i also think all babies are cute, some are more than others though. we will have to take some more time to see who looks cuter and more beautiful :)

I didn't mean that the little prince is ugly, but that not all children of good looking parents are good looking themselves, sorry if anyone took this personally!

Well, Prince William was not that cute when he was an infant baby..I remember a picture of him when he was a few days old with his mom Diana and Dad Charles, the baby prince was so thin and not so cute, but as the months and years passed by, the baby prince become more and more beautiful..Well, the little Danish prince would not be that cute for some of members here..but lets just wait and see..He's just infant, his real facial feautures are not that developed yet...and I believe he'll be as beautiful as his parents and will turn into Prince Charming..and frankly, i find him really cute even as an infant...might be you cant resist his charm when you see the baby in person..

the prince's appearance isthe only thing we have to discuss right now. in the comings years, as he starts saying and doing things we'll have more substantive discussions.
he just had bad luck that he was born in a season of exceptional pulchritude among royal babies. ingrid alexandra, alexia and Leonor are all unusually beautful. and its inevitable that we'll compare.
we all know from personal experience that the way a baby looks has next to no relationship to how he/she will look when they grow up.
there may actually be an inverse relationship.there's a dutch folk saying that goes "mooi in de luier, lelijk in de sluier." beautiful in the diaper, ugly in the wedding veil.
so it may actually be a good thing for the prince that he isn't too cute.:)

But surely it is way to early to start critisizing the prince just so soon after his birth, its just not normal to talk like that when someone is born. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but just give him a break, he is only just born.
Pollyemma, we all know your opinon on this, you have stated it a number of times, and like the others in this thread are saying, lets move on.

Due to personal reasons I haven't been able to participate at RF as much as I would like.
Personaly I think Lilleprinsen has a very sweat, tender and happy look. He is very a beautifull baby who has a very beautifull smilling eyes.
Personaly, I would advise royal parents for not publishing this intimate and personal photos. These aren't "produced photos". These are photos taken when their baby was awake and his parents decided to photograph him , so everyone could see how cute and grown-up their baby is. Like all parents do!! But they are crown princes and they know everyone is always curious about everything they do and they decided to share their happiness and send pics to the media.
I think this is very thoughtfull of them!
From me, I Thank you!
Regards,
mtbcm :)

Good idea even if we always enjoy looking at pictures of royal.
Might have been a good idea also to wait a little bit and not release the pictures the same day - even the same week - the Norgevian RF releases the very 1st pictures of newborn prince Sverre. What were/are the PR people of the DRF thinking? that they need to take the limelight back on them right on?
They seem to be in agenda conflict with many other RF and not always acting graciously about it: absence to F&L wedding, asking but not showing up to IA's baptism, 2ND set of pictures of their son within the week as the norvegian prince is born (as if they didn't know some pictures would be released!),...

This tread belongs to the Lilleprisen who is too young to schedule events and cannot possibly have the mental prowess to formulate an agenda against other Royal Babies or Royal Houses. If you wish to discuss the negative points ot the Danish Royal Family or retaliate against your least favourite Crown Princess or Crown Prince, I suggest that you find the appropriate thread to vent your feelings.
All posts/comments unrelated to the Lilleprisen will be deleted from this point forward.
A big thank you to all members who have maintained their dignity and dispensed with the name calling throughout this thread.

I think he is a little cutey.
I think he is showing a strong resemblance to Mary in the face.
I think he will end up looking very much like his Mum in the face but with fairer hair and blue eyes, like Frederik. I expect he will inherit features from both sides in teh same way Alex and Joachims boys have.

Very well said. Totally agree! :p
The Lilleprinsen is an absolutely beautiful royal baby. He has incredibly beautiful eyes and lovely smile. He looks so sweet and so cute!!!!
I think his face is a very good mix of Frederik and Mary. He certainly is a cutie!

I also agreed . He is rather cute, very alert and has sort of inquisite look. His features are unique- reflecting different heritage-Danish, Scottish and French. I think he will be a very handsome prince in time to come. :)
