Great pictures and what a lovely birthday girl. Kudos to the Danes that they dont hide their children away but share their growing up with the public on a regular basis, very fitting to their hands on style of monarchy.

so about the present, so it must have been a small one or
someone walked behind her and carried it

I am trying to find the similarities between Princess Mary and her children and they don't seem to look very much like her at all (at least to me) Does anyone have any photos where the resemblances are obvious or of Mary as a child/toddler? Both children seem to look more like thier father

I think that Isabella looks more like her father, but Christian looks quite like his mother in certain ways. I don't think i've ever seen a picture of Mary as a baby.

There used to be a picture of Mary as a baby in her mother's arms that was posted on the Crown Prince Couple's website. I can't seem to find it there now.
However, another member, Amely, posted this link that has 4 photos of Mary as a very young child. I believe she resembles Christian more than Isabella but I see a bit of both there. They definitely look more like Frederik than Mary, IMO.

I agree Dierna, Christian has Mary's facial features, including the mouth.
Isabella definately has Mary's hair but Frederik's facial features.

Yes, his eyes are small and rather close together like Mary, and a bit of a ski jump nose too!

His looks have changed, he used to look so much like Fred but as he gets older he is pure Mary.

When I look at Christian I think of Mary. IMO he looks so much like her
Isabella is all Frederik, it is so cute to see.
