:previous: I don't think so. Someone seems to have tipped off the press.

Billed-Bladet - Prinsesse Marie har fået personlig træner

Another weekly, Her & Nu, writes that Marie has indeed got a personal trainer. Marc Skovsbøg, who previously served in the Royal Lifeguard Regiment.
Marc Skovsbøg picks up our Marie in her apartment in Christian VIII's Mansion at Amalienborg and together they walk across the square to the fitness room at Christian VII's Mansion. (That is when they don't decide to go jogging I presume).
The article says that a fitness chain has supplied the instruments of torture in the room, aparantly for free.

- It must be added that the fitness room is not just for the DRF but also for their staff. Which is a sound policy that is getting more and more common here in DK.

--------------
And a little treat, especially for Hannelore, enjoy ;):bb:

I've always meant to ask- why do so many members refer to Marie as "Our Marie"?

I believe that Muhler does because he is fond of her. I think it's sweet.

Oh I do too :) I just wondered where it came from
and how it started.

There was a time I posted on a site devoted to Mary Queen of Scots. Those on that site referred to Mary as "Our Marie", using the French form of her name which she used in early life, raised in France.. She had four ladies in waiting who were all called Marie. There were so many Maries that "Our Marie" was not only a term of endearment but a way to distinguish her from the others of her name.

Joachim looks like he just came back from the dead.
Maybe he shares that hobby with Bond: resurrection.

Well, it started for various reasons as a kind of internal joke and now it has simply become a trademark of mine.
It is very much meant as an endearment.

I also used to called her la Marie, but I was told by a couple of French members that this has unfortunate connotations to certain women of the town and that's the last thing I wish to compare our Marie to. So now it's la belle Marie or something like that, if anything.

And here is a full picture of the couple: http://ekstrabladet.dk/flash/dkkendte/article1851520.ece
Joachim is in his Dr No outfit.

:previous: I stand corrected Duke of M. :)

I must confess I haven't really seen a Bond movie since Sean Connery  and Roger Moore  retired.
My wife, who has a keen sense of humour, went to see Casino Royale with some friends and she observed that the audience at the cinema mostly consisted of gay men and desperate housewives. :p

Prins Bond - Prince Bond.
Written by Casper Nielsen.

Along with quite a few other celebs Joachim and our Marie also showed up for the premiere of the new Bond movie, both dressed for occasion.
For once Joachim did all the talking, because he is an avid Bond-fan and has seen the movies several times.
He jokingly confided to us: "Bond was a good student". I.e. of Joachim. (*)

After the movie he was even more enthusiastic: "It's right up there ringing. (I.e. in the top). We get a bit of the old as well as a bit of the new style. And a hint to as to how the series perhaps will develope from here, and what we have in store".

(*) For those who don't know it: It's Joachim who is the Stig from Top gear. - And as such taught Bond how to drive.

He's not The Stig, but he is The Stig's Danish cousin!!!

Awesome pic, Muhler...but proves nothing!!! LOL

Some say that his tears are adhesive, and that if he caught fire, he'd burn for a thousand days...all we know is, he's called the Stig!!

Top Gear is one of my favourites. I love Captain Slow - always the gentleman!! (I'm fond of them all, however!!)

Is this the British Top Gear or the Danish version of the show? I would love it if Joachim was the Stig!

Talking about the British Top Gear. Could be wrong, but I don't think there's a Danish Top Gear. Joachim would make a fabulous Danish Stig!...oops!, sorry - he already IS The Stig, right? ;)

:previous: You are absloutely right, Queen Penelope ;)

However, Joachim took two of his boys backstage for the Top Gear show earlier this year, when the show came to Copenhagen. https://www.box.com/s/00mfgi5omvu66j38ab4r

I guess the picture I posted is from such a show.
(Looking at Google, I was surprised how many female "Stigs" there were!
For the true petrolhead seeing your girlfriend dressed like the Stig, may better than her wearing a baby-doll.
Sorry, if this doesn't make much sense, I'm desperatly trying to keep an image out of my head).

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #49, 2012.
Prinsessen til fest hos modedronningen - The Princess to party at the fashion-queen.
Written by Trine Larsen.

Last Saturday Malene Birger turned 50 and that celebrated at a former girls-school in Copenhagen.
Saturday evening was a cold, windy day with sleet and snow in the air. (Today was a beautiful day with a balmy temperature of minus five degrees C.) Malene Birger's sweetheart, John Risman, is Scottish and I feel a chill going through me looking at him posing outside in his kilt.
Everyone worth mentioning within the fashion industry turned up and quite a few high profile names from the entertainment industry as well.
Including Anja Alajdi.

Oddly enough, considering how fond Mary is of Malene Birger's designs, it was Joachim and his Marie, who showed up, as the last guests naturally.
Our Marie looked decidedly chic in in a dress that peeked out from underneath her short coat. Those among you who appreciate colors within the DRF will be delighted to notice Joachim's red scarf.

La belle Marie was seated next to the actor Peter Frödin, whom she apparently had a good rapport with. (Don't worry, Peter Frödin is married and his husband was there as well).
Joachim was seated next to Ellen Hillingsøe, whom he has known all his life.

The party went on until the early hours.

Hope to see them this year in Villars, she must be excited because this year she can ski...

The magazine is usually questionable.
However, if they have photographis evidence then our Marie must have been physically present at a hospital/clinic somewhere. - Either to visit someone/to care for someone/or to undergo treatment of some sort.

If the latter is the case, then only cosmetic surgery that is not medically necessary springs to mind, otherwise why go to a clinic/hospital when she's is guaranteed to get the best treatment than can be offered in DK.
For the same reason I cannot imagine she has a medical condition herself that needs treatment, she could get that in DK as well.

It will be interesting to learn what clinic/hospital it is. She might very well tend to a relative.

My thought exactly :duckie:

:previous:maybe for more privacy, or is this not an issue in Denmark?

but maybe she is just visiting someone?

I don't think so, because I just saw a commercial for the new magazine in my television and it says that she has undergone plastic surgery abroad.

But I don't follow or know much about princess Marie and therefore I don't know if she would do something like that and yes, 'SeogHør' can be a dubious magazine.

I got this from another forum
"The magazine gives more details. Apparently it Marie went with an aunt and Joachim . Marie stayed one night . Do not know which intervention was made, but was in a private clinic for cosmetic surgery in France"

One should always take stories from Se & Hør with a grain of salt (and by "stories" I mean tales; the journalists of Se & Hør far exceeds all the other Danish journalists when it comes to writing fabricated so-called "articles").

Marie is gorgeous, why would she use plastic surgery? This is so close to a Christmas that she's hosting for both some of her husbands family and some of her own family, doesn't plastic surgery take at least a couple of days to recover from? This just stinks of journalists wanting a big-selling "scoop", sorry to say.

But the communications manager Lene Balleby admits that the princess was hospitalized at the clinic, but that it belongs to privacy  I really don't trust 'Se og Hør' much either, but they have, after all, pictures of the princess who check into the clinic and pictures of her checking out the next day. And isn't it a pretty normal procedure of plastic surgery? You check into the clinic at the day, then you undergoing surgery, then you're hospitalized for observation the night over and then you takes home the day after? I am pretty sure that this is the normal procedure if you undergo breast augmentation, for example.
But I hope it is not true! I sometimes thinks all that plastic surgery is a bit out of control, espacially because, IMO, the majority of all the celebrity undergoing plastic surgery looks abosoluty fine BEFORE they decide to undergo plastic surgeries :bang:

I think I might have come off wrong. I don't doubt that she was hospitalized, I just find it hard to believe that a beautiful woman like Marie would want to have plastic surgery. Maybe there's a legitimate reason why she was there. I'd really hate to hear that she was there to "have something done", IMO Marie is waaaay to beautiful to do a such thing, and I must admit that I lose a great deal of respect for people who do undergo plastic surgery to "improve" their looks.

.

As usual we won't speculate about any possible cosmetic surgeries unless an official confirmation was made - thanks for your understanding!
