I suspect that the PTB want to ease back into "normal" life. I think if given the choice between younger kids versus older kids, the older kids are considered most suitable to continue to be educated online.

CP Frederik today:
"A big help to all of us landed early this morning from a cloudless sky at Copenhagen Airport.
I was invited to attend the landing of the world's largest cargo aircraft, where the cargo of 1,000,000 face masks and 170,000 protective suits and other protective equipment will be a major help to the home care system in the coming years in the fight against COVID-19.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to all involved who have made flights with protective equipment from China possible."

Thanks, Eya.
These three planes were the first of 24 (seriously huge) planes bringing this relief-aid from China to DK.
The logistic has been organized and paid for by Mærsk shipping.
Each plane carry masks enough to cover the (medically responsible) need for masks in the Copenhagen area for one week.
The number of masks and other protective equipment had reached a critical level here in DK.

All very good points! I hadn't thought about younger children needing more management - which, as a pre-school teacher in normal times, I can totally understand! A class of 6 can seem like it's double the size sometimes. I would presume the decision has more to do with practicality since COVID has been proven not to discriminate against age, sadly, as we have had some young children and teenagers lose their lives to the disease here in the UK. They are rarer cases, however, but are unfortunately still there.

Vincent and Josephine have almost certainly started in school again today as their school has reopened.
However Isabella and Christian are not to return to school yet. They will still be taught online.

The Danish return to school got on the British news here too! Spain is also starting to ease back into normal life gradually, so perhaps we'll also see Leonor and Sofia return to school in the next couple of weeks.

We are still on Stage 4 Lockdown but our PM gave us a brief of the conditions of Stage 3 for when we are ready. So far the schooling seems to be in line with Denmark except there is no compulsion to send your kids back to school.

Thanks, Polyesco.
That's a magazine for conscripts. And since the vast majority of conscripts here in DK are volunteers (more than 90 %) they will no doubt read it with a positive attitude.

The Danes have no doubt: Crown Prince Frederik becomes a good king
"This is what a majority of Danes believe, at least in a new YouGov study. Asked 'To what extent do you think Crown Prince Frederick will be a good king?' 49 per cent answered 'to a very high degree', while 26 per cent of respondents answered 'to a large extent'."

CP Frederik visit to a hairdresser this morning:
"I'm probably not the only one who has been a hairdresser today.
Fortunately, it is now possible for hairdressers and other smaller companies and stores to stay open on top of a long shutdown.
I would like to thank everyone for being so adaptable and for helping keep the wheels going for a period that requires a lot of us all."

Yes, some service businesses have opened today.
I had a vetting process with my dentist on the phone today before she would take me next month though. And only then because I can sense something that is not quite right with a tooth of mine. And that's fine with me.
It's a heck of a process for the dentist, because they are required to basically wrap their patients in protective gear both for the sake of the patient and themselves.

What a fun way to support the reopening of small businesses in Denmark! A picture at the hairdresser.
Great idea.

Still, a typical 'guy's thing . . . his new haircut makes him look like he told the Barber "to just cut it all off" which, to be honest is probably what a lot of men said an more than a few women too.
Covid hair is probably "a thing" as so many ended up looking delightfully shaggy. Me, since I seem to turn over so often, I look like a chook, flat at the back and sides and standing straight up on top!
