 Ringhof
Then I predict a well illustrated book, often with rare photos.
A comprehensive and informative coverage.
A very positive and uncritical book.
Little bite but a safe investment for a dedicated Mary-fan.
It doesn't look like Mary herself is quoted in the book, and that detracts in my eyes.
- Not something I'll think about buying.

As you probably know M&F have in the past been on vacation in Tisvildeleje at north-coast of Zealand.
They lived with friends in a summer cottage there.
That cottage was owned by the Heerings, and has now been sold.
I believe this is one of the few times we have actually seen the house, that is connected to the beach via stairs:

A BB video where Frederik is being interviewed about his injury: VIDEO: Tilbage i fin form: Kronprins Frederik sætter ord på trampolinulykken | BILLED-BLADET
He is as usual pretty reluctant to discuss personal details regarding his family, but in short:
He is fine.
He is almost fully mobile.
He is fortunate that is injury wasn't more serious.
He does not know yet, when he can remover his collar.
He is undergoing checks.
It was fortunate, schedule wise, that the injury took place just because the Autumn holiday, so he could stay still for a couple of weeks.
The children are fine about it - they stayed with him, during the holiday very much in the same room - to me that indicates they went to Trend.
It's a bit irritating for an active man like Frederik to be inactive.

and nice to see he is recovering well

There don't appear to be any official, let alone public, celebrations of M&F's copper anniversary.
Instead the two main networks in DK, DR1 and TV2 will mark the event with two shows.
TV2 on Sunday the 13. at 20.00 - who will go completely romantic-overdrive!
The next day, also at 20.00. DR1 will have a (slight funny, if we are lucky) view at Danes who have married and settled in Australia.

Thanks Muhler
Great mark from DR and TV2 of the Crown Prince Couple's copper wedding.
I can see in the DRF's official calendar that Frederik & Mary (very unusual since they always have so many weekly duties) has no official events from the middle of next week and 7 days ahead - with their copper wedding day be right in between.
I think the two lovebirds traveling somewhere and celebrate their milestone together.

On Monday (November 14) Frederik and Mary can celebrate their copper wedding
When Her&Nu asked Frederik when he and Mary attended the Nordic prize Awards last week he said, that he looked very much forward to celebrate it.
Both of Denmark's main TV stations DR1 and TV2 will commemorate the occasion with broadcasts in prime time on Sunday and Monday evening.
And the media also seems to goes all in. Magazines have large additions and Billedbladet seems to cover the copper wedding massive.
Today, BB have already gave a sneak paek with a warm-up video:
https://www.facebook.com/billedblade...PAGES_TIMELINE
KGL KOBBERBRYLLUP: Mary og Frederiks store kærlighed | BILLED-BLADET
And Billedbladet tomorrow will be published in a special edition with 122 pages and it will be agian next week.
There is no tradition of official celebrating copper wedding in the DRF and there wont be official celebration of the Crown Prince Couple's copper wedding. And with F&M don't have any official events the next 7 days, I think the two maybe go on a trips together and celebrate the anniversary.
However, I think we will get new official photos on the day from the Court. On the occasion of the Crown Prince Couple's 10-year wedding anniversary in 2014, we got not less than 14 wonderful new pictures.

Good heavens, am I reading the price correctly? Twenty million kroner for a smallish beach house? I had no idea Danish property prices had also exploded: welcome to the reality of Toronto where the average house costs 1.5 million dollars!

Yes, the prices are quite insane in that area.
In other (and still attractive places mind you) in DK you can easily get five more luxurious summer cottages for the same price.

A BB video where Mary is first asked about the upcoming copper anniversary and then how it is to have been married for 12½ years. http://www.billedbladet.dk/kongelige...rtaelle-om-sit
In her usual style, Mary doesn't say much about their private lives, but I think the smile speak very much for itself.
To the first question, she replied that she was looking forward and that she was sure it would be a nice celebration.
To the second question she replied that answering that would take some time, because they have after all been together for 12½ years and that is quite a while! "But, we are really well/fine/good together".

It really does The way her face lights up when she is asked about Frederik. We see the same with Frederik. Lovely to see after 12.5 years. For it is indeed quite a while.
BTW, I saw a woman on Facebook commenting how proud she was because her son will make the dinner for the CP couple at their copper wedding celebration.

There's a very nice video on YouTube called ''Frederik and Mary: Pre wedding 2004.'' The background music is ''Perhaps Love'' sung by John Denver and Placido Domingo.

Indeed. BB this week has included a 52 page, very well illustrated booklet on the occasion of M&F's copper anniversary.
And next week they publish the second part...!
I'm in the process of scanning the booklet and it will be uploaded here on TRF.
Was the TV2 show worth watching, Roskilde?
I feared they would go way over the top.

BB's coverage is massive. There are countless videos and galleries - are members here on TRF interested?
BB has today published this 20 minutes long video with super heartwarming pictures of the couple and a great interview with BB's chef editor and journalists:

I will see TV2's program about the Crown Prince Couple copper wedding on TV2 in a moment - so if others Danish members have better time, feel free to give an resume of the BB video

A huge and heartfelt congratulations to Frederik and Mary with their copper wedding today
On the occasion of the Crown Prince Couple's copper wedding the Danish royal family announces some new pictures:
http://kongehuset.dk/sites/default/f...?itok=kVlVHYsd
http://kongehuset.dk/sites/default/f...?itok=m2M5hGky
http://kongehuset.dk/sites/default/f...?itok=fbYAOX0u
http://kongehuset.dk/sites/default/f...?itok=A6I1a0Hv
And a gallery from the couple's 12.5 years:
Kobberbryllup | Kongehuset
Their wedding was so romantic and touching, and today 12.5 years later they present a huge loved, respected and popular Crown Prince couple who we are so confident to take over the throne. Their love, respect and support for each other is obvious and a joy to experience.
_______________________________________________
A good article from BT, with a therapist and pastor, Erik Norman Svendsen, giving their views about how Frederik & Mary's characters compliment each other:
Alle husker øjeblikket for 12 og et halvt år siden: Derfor er Frederik og Mary så perfekte sammen
I actually think they have some interesting to say. For we always hear everywhere how Frederik and Mary have taken the whole Denmark and the Danes by storm. And they have, indeed. But I actually think that these two - Frederik and Mary - most of all have taken each other by storm. They seems incredibly drawn by each other - on all fronts. And they seem to make each other to better persons and get out the best in each other.
Therapist and author Ingrid Ann Watson:
"I have no doubt that she makes him a better man. And he makes her a better woman. And it's love."
Frederik and Mary's love is obvious to all. When they are together on official events, they always take their chance to give each other a flirtatious smile kiss or a loving hug, and it's obvious that they love to spend time together.
"Their love shines out of them. They manage to keep love alive through mutual respect, and they are good to support and praise each other. When Mary does something - for example with the Mary Foundation - he supports her, and the same the other way around. I think they have huge respect for each other and are good to focus on the good," she explains.
Pastor, Erik Norman Svendsen:
"I think it's obvious that the Crown Prince and Crown Princess constitute what we today call a good match. And the good match was there from the beginning, and has been strengthened by the arrival of four children. What was a young newly married couples for 12½ years ago, has become a family that works really well and has great interest in each other. Something we all can see."

The Danish Royal Family has just published a brand new and private picture of the morning wake-up of Frederik and Mary this morning
"Today can the Crown Prince couple celebrate copper wedding.
Family and friends had this morning at 6:30 pm. arranged morning wake-up at Amalienborg Palace to mark the day.

Never has a picture/post on the DRF official Facebook received near as many likes and greetings in such a short time - after only 2 hours has the picture of F&M in nightwear being awakened this very early morning received over 20 thousand likes and 1000 greetings.
So nice they posted a picture from the morning wakening
