It really looks like a lovely place
and Im sure all 6 plus ziggy enjoy the outdoors and living in the middle of nature.
Hope they make it to church on Easter Sunday, where they usually go with the Queen and Henrik right?

A Happy and safe Easter to all members. I can see why they love Trend no phones or people wanting to take photos of them. A time-out relaxing holiday for the family.

They've gotta be kidding!!
Forsvarer til sigtet livvagt: Fuldstændig forrykt | Nyhederne
The PET officer who is being charged was the driver of the escorting vehicle!
Was he supposed to say: Sorry, can't protect the Crown Prince, it's against the traffic rules?!?

No idea. Unless he's the guy who okay'ed the crossing, this makes no sense whatsoever.

Forsvarer: Sigtet livvagt beholder sit job hos PET | Nyhederne
I've had a close view of the affair of the PET officer.
He's only charged with breaking the traffic rules, while investigations at the police internal affairs goes on. If it is decided by the State Attorney to press charges then he will face court. But IMO the most likely outcome is that they'll dismiss the whole thing.
Should he face charges, and should a judge decide to find him guilty, he will get a fine of 3-4.000 DKK but he will keep his job, says the officers defense attorney.
So it's a formality that has been blown up by the media.

I will post it here. A post that thrives around on Facebook these days. I have now came across it several times and have decided to post it here. A neutral radio station (which means the post reach out to all kinds of people) asks a neutral questions in the occasion of Queen Margrethe's birthday:
"When time is, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will reigns Denmark. How do you think the couple represent Denmark?"
And to put it mildly, the support, the respect and the sympathy for CP Frederik and Mary CP is (as for Queen Margrethe) tremendously high! Out of all the over 600 comments from all kinds of people very very few are negative. Not about The Crown Prince Couple, but more about having a royal house in a modern world.
Not that it surprises me, but I'd be lying if it didn't makes me a little homeland proud.

Here are the comments (translated to english) which have received the most likes:
Quote:
A lovely couple and perfect representatives of Denmark. And when I am sitting and watching Crown Princess Mary sitting in the Concert Hall in Aarhus last week and sing along to Anne Linnet's "Barndommens Gade" then damn, I become warm inside. Margrethe is a fabulous and elegant and fantastic Queen. And in Frederik and Mary, she has two worthy successors who she can be really proud of.

Quote:
I simply have to comment on your comment. I had it on exactly the same way as you regard to Mary and singing along on "Barndommens Gade"... then you simply can't be more integrated and interested in Denmark and the Danes. She does it with bravura

We will we get a skilled and folksy King and Queen. You have to look far to find a more folksy, down to earth man than our coming King. He will be a respected and beloved King then time is.

Quite simply, we couldn't get any better than them.

When our everyone's Queen Margrethe closes her eyes (for hopefully many years) she has the most competent to take over the throne, HRH Crown Prince Frederik and HRH Crown Princess Mary. Margrethe you can (when your time comes) safely close your eyes and know that your beloved Denmark is in the very best hands!

They are certainly a worthy couple who one day will reigns Denmark. Is so thankful that it's Frederik who were born first. Met them some years ago during their annual summer cruise where they visited Sønderborg. A couple who is very folksy and warm and great to see they are so fond of each other.

The bridgegate saga continues: Telefonsamtale afslører: Kronprinsen blev frarådet at krydse broen - Nyheder | www.bt.dk
It has now emerged that the local in fact did advise against the cars with Frederik from crossing the bridge on the way back to Copenhagen.
That is evident from a transcript between the police and a Pet officer.
The cars were no prohibited from crossing the bridge however.
So the question still remains open? Who ordered the crossing?
PET because an officer believed that's what Frederik would have wanted.
PET because they were shall we say, urged, by Frederik.
Or Frederik himself.
Whatever. We are pretty fortunate that an incident like this is a "royal scandal" here in DK. There are other monarchies that dream of scandals like this...

M&F have got themselves a new set of wheels: Den ville koste dig 1.4 millioner kroner: Her er Kronprinsens nye eksklusive legetøj - Livsstil | www.bt.dk
A 4X4, a Land Rover Discovery 4.
This time a black, presumably to replace the bronze colored 4X4 they have used for the last few years.
In fact it's the same model as the one PET uses when escorting them.
The price here in DK with our insane taxes on cars is (hold on to your hats!) 1.4 million DKK. (Smelling salt anyone?)
That is due to 180% tax and additional vat. - The DRF are exempt from tax and vat though, so they change their cars a little more often.
Anyway, I bet Land Rover are pretty delighted!

If I understand the article correctly, there is no relationship between Volvo and Land Rover. Volvo is merely the car the Prince received when he turned 18. Volvo is somehow irrelevant in this case.

F&M has unusually none official duties in this week so I did thought that something was going on
And is those days happens what I've been waiting to happen for several years. Frederik bringing Mary to Greenland to experience a dog sledge tour and sleeping in tent under the open sky as he did during the Sirius time in Greenland back before he met her. And as he has done with his mother in 2011. Now it's Mary's turn. It will no doubt be some fantastic days for F&M together.
The Greenlandic media reports:
Mittarfeqarfiit's small airport got very fine visit this Tuesday afternoon. Here landed the Crown Prince couple who are on an unofficial visit in Greenland these days.
On Mittarfeqafiits Facebook Page writes Airport practitioners:
- The Crown Prince Couple is currently on a surprising unofficial visit in our smallest airport Nerlerit Inaat. The Crown Prince Couple will continue on a private sleigh ride through 'Københavnshavn' further up north.
Mittarfeqarfiit airport shows a few photos from the little East Greenland airport of the Crown Prince Couple in the very bright sun in the company of a few locals.
How long the surprising visit will be is unknown, but the Crown Prince couple have events in the coming week, so a good guess is 4 days.

Thanks, Roskilde.
Nice with a little romantic outing. Good for any marriage.
The Sirius Patrol does operate in this area, so I guess M&F will hitch a ride.
