I'd be surprised if we didn't get something.

A new official photo of Frederik and Mary would be nice and perhaps the picture on Kongehuset could be updated, it is a really lovely photo but is several years old. A family photo with the four children is always welcome.

Thanks Polyesco.
Sounds very likely. I am, however, curious about to know what Danish source who has given this information. But as I said, new's official and family pictures sounds very likely. But it do, however, sounds about fun/weird if Mary and Frederik should had been spotted around Amalienborg wearing their gown and uniform. But maybe outdoor pictures

Let me see if I can find it again. But I dont think they put a source so maybe just wishful thinking
But I do hope we get some new pics. The one on the DRF website of Mary and Frederik with Tiara and uniform are old.

The ones with Mary (and Marie) in blue gowns are from 2009 IIRC.
Still 5 years old. So it would be nice to have new ones and perhaps new portraits of the other DRF members as well.

2004 I didn't realise that it was from then, as lovely as the old one is, I think a new one of Mary and Frederik is needed.

And it would be great if the new ones were "real" instead of photo-shopped to death like the ones from 2004 and 2009.
I like real people just the way they are, and not an artificial wax cabinet. That's what Tussaud's for, isn't it.

Yes I guess they could be the trendsetters among their counterparts and be the first to have their official photos "real" as you say. But I am opting for the Danes to do exactly as the others. Love the photos of 2004 and 2009.

I'll be happy with "somewhat real", instead of photo-shopped to death! :)
If people don't have the courage to go for what is real, the mistake is theirs only. I always welcome anything genuine.
I am convinced there will be pictures, and equally convinced they will be photo-shopped to death, Mary's in particular.
"Doing what others do" is an explanation of behaviour, but not an excuse for behaviour. It's flawed logic, and shown at its best/worst (?) in "I killed my husband because my neighbour killed her husband". One cannot justify one's own behaviour with that of others.
But it will be interesting to see the photos!

Sorry I dont see the pictures being "photo-shopped to death"
They are easily recognized as Frederik and Mary.
and you can see some wrinkles
Photo-shopped to death for me would be no wrinkles and not being able to recognize the two individuals.

Of course it is all Mary we know your opinion ( which you are entitled to have) and the pleasure you have in always being so negative, but we are talking about air brushing of a photo not murdering someone. One of the many reasons I like Mary and Frederik and the rest of the Danes is that they do what is best for them and don't "do as others do".

I'm not always negative or always positive; I post how I see it. :) - Why twist what others post is something I don't understand, but that's OK.

The B/W-photo of the CPC dancing is from their 5th anniversary in May 2009.

I hope the rumour about the new portraits turns out to be true. It would be nice to get new pictures of the whole family, (including Ziggy, of course)!
Hard to believe it's been ten years since the wedding. I feel old!

To the best of my knowledge, and I didn't copy the photos at the time, this photo is from a modelling photoshoot Mary did for Dansk in Denmark round August 2004. It was pure modelling, with Fred included, and didn't go down well with the public; a lot of people commented on Mary promoting herself and doing modelling for the sake of fashion. I would imagine it will be here on the board somewhere under 2004?
Actually, here's a link for it:

I must confess that I have problems understanding your point, Redtulip.
Virtually all photos taken by a photographer are "staged" and "arranged", including those that look "natural". That's basically what photographers do and what people do when they are being photographed by a professional.
"Natural photos" that's what you get when you are caught off guard at aunt Beatrice's silver anniversary.
