Three days ago (monday) a man posted a picture on Facebook of Mary running near Kastellet. Ziggy ran by her side.

I´m almost 99% sure that there´s not a royal box at Folketeatret

You can see his picture here

The reason that I didn't initially posted it was that I think the man had taken the picture in a bit discourteous way. Every time Mary and Frederik run the same places as many other Danes there is a risk that some will stop up and take pictures of them. And fair enough, they know that, but my dear God, they can at least wait until they (M+F) have run past them so they don't discover it!
But all in all, it is my clear impression that far the most people let Mary and Frederik go in peace and respect their privacy. And IIRC both Frederik and Mary has also confirmed this in interviews

Thanks, Roskilde.
The redheaded woman smells like a personal trainer to me. I doubt very much she is PET. Not in that outfit and she stands out too much. Anyway PET officers have a tendency to follow the royals on bikes when they go jogging. - Easier to conceal weapons and equipment that way and as far as I know PET currently only have one woman among the royal protection officers and this is not her. She's allocated QMII and she is not a redhead.
So, since the lane behind is clear of people and there is no reason for a single protection officer to run in front of Mary....

According to Billed Bladet Stille fødselsdag for kronprinsen
Frederik's birthday was celebrated quietly at Amalienborg today.
There were paper-Dannebrog's in the windows and QMII dropped by on the way back from work. But there were no guests observed, which is perhaps not surprising as Mary is leaving for Malaysia later today.

I'm sure Frederik had a jolly good time with the four kids even though Mary had to go to Malaysia (though I guess she left in the evening which has given them the entire day to celebrate Frederik's birthday).

Its nice to see them out and about...too bad the twins were left behind
It seemed the paparrazi kept a distance, although in this pic it looks like Frederik is telling them "enough"

I don't think they were around.
Here & Nu has an article: Frederik og Mary havde Christian og Isabella med i byen - HER&NU
Kim Vibe-Pedersen, a friend of Frederik had ordered a table at restaurant Skt. Annæ. (*) With him were also his two sons. Later M&F and their oldest arrived.
Someone has really talked because we are getting details about the menu, meatballs (frikadeller) with potato salad and also tartlets with chicken and asparagus. (I can without being the least bit shameful eat a dusin. Major yum, yum. Before proceeding to the meatballs)! All prepared by the chef himself.
The restaurant is apparantly a place M&F frequent from time to time.
They serve traditional Danish food.
On Sunday friends arrived for brunch at 10.30.
(*) Very logically the restaurant is located at Skt. Annæ Plads (square), on the same side as the kindergarten Isabella and the twins are attending. A couple of hundred meters straight down the street from Amalienborg.
So perhaps they assumed that in case of trouble PET could be there within five minuttes, even on foot.

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #22, 2013.
Pilluarit Frederik.
Written by our sentinel at Amalienborg Square, Henrik Salling.
On the rainy Sunday Frederik had birthday a number of Greenlanders turned up with flags at Amalienborg Square, to cheer Frederik and hopefully get a glimpse of him. Alas in vain. But they nevertheless shouted: "Pilluarit, Frederik = congratulations, Frederik".
The Greenlanders came from the shelter for Greenlandic alcoholics and drugaddicts, Naapiffik.
- It may be easy to smile a little, but it is telling for how much Frederik and his love Greenland is genuinely appreciated by Greenlanders in general. Also those who have had the misfortune to end up in the bottom of the society.
It is a sad fact that quite a number of those Greenlanders who for various reasons come to DK, end up as alcoholics and drugg addicts and they do stand out and there is a lot of social stigma associated with them.
- Those Greenlanders who do well here in DK, are never mentioned.
-------------------- (To be moved if need be).
- The article also mentions that Mary will be in Aachen together with Benedikte on the day King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima visit DK. Frederik will at the same time be in Greenland with Arctic Research Centre. Here he will visit the research stations, Zackenberg and Staion North in north east Greenland. He will also visit the HQ of the Sirius Patrol at Daneborg.

Its nice to see the connection and relationship Frederik has with Greenland and its people.
thank you Muhler for the background information and for bringing this and the other articles/translations
a shame Mary and Frederik wont be in DK to greet the King and Queen of the Netherlands, but of course it makes more sense that they are greeted by Queen Margrethe and Henrik

Great pictures of Frederik, Mary and the kids. Its not always you see them so casually. I know its frustrating to be followed by the paparazzi's but I must be honest that its good for us fans.

Slightly bummed out that Mary and Frederik wont be there to greet WA and Máxima when they're visiting Denmark, but obviously it makes sense since they're no longer "on the same level", so to speak.
