Both are wearing the service/field uniform.
Mary is wearing the green beret of the Army Home Guard. Frederik is wearing the black beret of a combat regiment in the regular army.
In case you are wondering, the two ribbons Mary is wearing are the Order of the Elephant and a commemoration medal by QMII. I can't make out which one. - But you have seen her wearing the medal close to her shoulder when she is in a dress.
Frederik is wearing the free fall jumpwings.
He is also wearing the ribbon of the Order of the Elephant, with a commemoration ribbon beneath that.
The coloured belt he is wearing is in the colours of the Guards Hussars Regiment.
Back then Frederik was a lieutenant colonel, he is now full colonel.
Mary is a second lieutenant.

I love that "very big satellite dish", it is a confection, an absolute work or art!
I am really pleased that Mary stopped wearing such shapeless, ugly and shapeless dresses.

The cold, clean air and the fjord do not keep HM from ensuring her nails are still beautifully manicured! An ice queen indeed!
